PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Growing up I had nearly 1000 family owned private acres to ride, rivers and ponds to fish in. All the tools I could ever need. Since then I've lived in the city but I spend my weekends back on that farm. I don't know how people live in the cities, but I didn't know what I had until I moved away. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Congratulations!! My sister is a realestate agent, and I can tell you I've rarely heard a story about someone selling their house and buying one at the same time. There is always something hanging the deals up around here. When I bought my house, the people selling it went back and fucking forth, and eventually decided to just go get a damn house. Took them a couple of weeks to decide what they wanted to do. They had the house on the market for a month. You'd think they would know what they were doing by then. Quote
NYUK Posted April 19, 2006 Author Report Posted April 19, 2006 i used to ride in blackwood years ago. theres places all over by me.the guy i am buying my new house is going to prison, he needed to dump it in a hurry. he had no offers and is off to the big house next month.it just worked out. i had a back up plan just in case.my friends have a huge house, he said we were welcome till we found a house. This guys kid ended up at the point of the mountain, and started selling off his shit to pay his fines etc. My dad practially stole this bike, and he turned around and sold it about 3 months later. They need to have more sales like that. Instead of yard sales they need to have going to prison sales. Quote
