The tree huggers gave a deadline to end production of the Banshees I believe it was 2007, that was the final year. They made 2008's in Canada but I think its over now...

Ok to make it simple I lost my key, I have a couple buyers and I need some type of relief. I Hotwired it, but it will not idle at all since I hotwired it. What can I do?!!!

Well unfortunatly I have chose to sell my Banshee... It is a 2001 Yamaha Banshee It was overhauled last season I powdercoated the frame Baron Red, and the swing arm and A- Arms Silver Vein. I replaced the brakes before the summer and put little miles on it. It was Rebuilt in August and is bored .040 with Pro-x Pistons and a Weisco Hot Rod long rod Crank. It Has Boyeson Rad Valves, FMF Fatty Pipes, K&N Air Filter, Carlisle Badland Tires on the Rear and Stock YFZ Tires on the front with about 40% thread left. Renthal Handle bars, Chassis Skid Plate and a Stainless Steel Swing arm Skid Plate, Regina O Ring Chain, Sunstar Sprockets, Baja Aluminum Grill Cover, Cascade light covers, XTreme Fabrication Jaws Bumper, Ims 5.6 Gallon tank (I also have the stock one if you want it), AC Racing Blackline Nerf bars, and of course many other goodies. IT IS GARAGE KEPT I do not ride it in the winter and maintained it very well, hence I did the First rebuild when it was 5 years old. I do not ride it in the rain No rust on this bad boy! I had a bad problem of running out of gas...So I bought a bigger gas tank IMS 5.6 Gallon Got a deal on it $50! Now I can go all day! :thumbsup:

Sounds like you need a rebuild kit for your swingarm I got mine for $35 out of the local dealer. Pivot works makes it. Good luck :thumbsup:

I have those on mine and for the pice you can not beat it. They are a good quality tire and perform just as good as my buddies Razrs.

I have a stainless one I made myself, holds up alot better than the stock! I also made a rear skidplate out of stainless that is only 1 pound heavier than my old aluminum one but holds up way better! IT's bulletproof :thumbsup:

The difference between small bore and big bore is if you have a large displacement motor then go wit the big bore, but IF I recal last time talking to ya you had it ported only, so go with the small bore.

Well over the past few months I have been really busy. Gettng my Willys projected complete and it is about 80% done! I have been real busy with other stuff too and the hq became distant from me. So I decided to stop by today probally the first time in 4 or 5 months to see what going on. I see a lot of things changed as of the format of the site. And it looks preety cool :thumbsup: I see alot of new faces here and thats good the more people here the more the Hq's name gets across, the better!
