ogre03 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 I was talking to this guy the other day, who told me he used to race for team kawasaki. He then told me he did it on a kx 125 that had 6 power bands . He said it hauled ass! Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 maybe 6 speed 462198[/snapback] or 5 with the neutral powerband, for when your sitting in your garage on a rainy day Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Thats impossible. Everyone knows those bikes had a 7th powerband for reverse. Ask him if his motocross bike had a chrome kick stand. Quote

dawarriorman Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Just out of curiousity, what does everyone say to people like that when you meet them? Do you call them out, or just nod and smile? Personally I nod and smile, I guess I find it funny to listen to stupid people try and sound smart. Quote

It was a V-6 from a Grand Am. I counted the spark plugs twice just to make sure. And there were 3 on each side...hardly an "inline 5 cylinder". We just said' Oh...cool." and rode off. Quote
MILO Posted January 21, 2006 Report Posted January 21, 2006 i usually just let them ramble on too. it's interesting how much non-sense or bs stories people come up with sometimes, and expect people to fall for it. if you ever do call somebody on it, that pretty much ends the conversation though Quote

ogre03 Posted January 21, 2006 Author Report Posted January 21, 2006 I just let him talk. He's full of all kinds of stories that brighten my day. Something about listening to someone tell you a complete lie, and ramble on and on thinking you are believing them, while you sit there laughing on the inside and thinking dumb ass. Quote
