yfz 450 or 700 raptor

i dont no what to get i have some money to spen what should i get yfz 450 or 700 raptor the raptor is fuel injection

what would you get i think im getting the raptor

and i will be riding dunes

 

does anyone no any advantages or disadvantages to yamaha fuel injection (yfi) other than thanks for any replies

For fast trails, hillclimbing cross country type terrain go with the 700R

 

For mx or any kind of jumping, or racing go with the 450

im still figuring out what one im gonna get

for racing and going fast I'd say yfz40

 

My next atv will be the raptor only because I'm getting old and need something I can putt putt around on with the kids.

 

the efi is cool because you never have to jet again. which is cool for us snow states because it makes the atv a gas and go machine all year round. which is my selling point. I think in a year or two all the sport atv's will be efi.

I think it was ATV Rider that has a shoot out between the 700 and the 450 in this months magazine. Hit a magazine rack and see what they have to say because we all know magazines are the absolute truth when it comes to whats good and whats not.

i did a search on here for 700 raptors and i dont no why everyone is saying they cant rev and all that stuff yah sure there not a two stroke and there not going to rev as high as the banshee but it will deff tear apart a yfz and seen it done

That's odd...I watched my friend on his bone stock yfz450 smoke a new raptor 700 with a trinity pipe. He even borrowed gas from the guy on the 700 to keep on smoking him, over and over.

 

Not only is the 450 faster, but has better suspension too. Forget all that fuel injection, go with the 450...you'll be glad you did

they are 2 different bikes. one is for performance, and the other has a reverse gear

it's all about how you intend to ride. The other selling factor I like over he yfz450 is more wiggle room. Being 6'5" the 450 feels small. Hell the banshee felt small till the 2 in lower pegs and the 2 in longer stem.

 

Comparing these two are like comparing the banshee to a z400. One is a racer and the other is a trail cruiser.

I have not seen the 700 yet but I never liked the 660. I would own a 450, it is a great bike that rides great and revs great for a 4 stroke.
