locogato11283 Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 get a FAST clutch..feel the power Quote
FASTOYS Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 Good guess on your HP, you get the fork. lol Get a clutch in there and shee should pick up some hp to the ground. I really thought with a 4mm dune port and single carb the torque would of been higher though. We dynoed a customers play/dune port 350cc on gas at 40 trq and 70 hp ! He did have dual carbs though and they do help some. Quote
TheBansheeMan86 Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 yeah my stock clutch was doing that as well. i'd start hauling and right when it wanted to peak it would slow down then pick up, slow down pick up. so i put an ebc in there with 6 HD springs and i haven't had a problem since. wesw Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 Oh and I didn't have a sniffer on this dyno so no fuel/air graph. 451699 how did you know the jetting was somewhat right with no sniffer??? thought wicked atv had a nice dyno facility??? Quote
Wallrat Posted December 25, 2005 Author Report Posted December 25, 2005 how did you know the jetting was somewhat right with no sniffer??? thought wicked atv had a nice dyno facility??? 451752 How do you know your jetting's right without using a sniffer? Same way, we just jetted it on the dyno instead of at the dunes/trail. Quote
wesw Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 that makes no sence. did they get a computer read out of what the air fuel ratio was. the reason im asking is how or why you picked that setting of your needles and pilots, mains. Quote

Banchetta Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 I always jetted to my plugs and when I went to the dyno, my jetting was spot on w/ the most hp..I tried richer and leaner and lost hp...although that was w/ 93 octane. Plugs look totally different w/ 114 octane. Either way, exhaust pipes are designed for max hp at 1200 degrees..if your too lean, then you'll be hitting temps a lot higher and the hp will suffer as your coming off the tuning of the pipe. Quote
demonic shee Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 55HP i have seen 4mm strokers only get 63HP and they have 34mm carbs Quote

PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Anyways, wallrat, were you able to post that dyno up? 453795 Anything more come of this Wallrat? Quote
Wallrat Posted January 12, 2006 Author Report Posted January 12, 2006 Ah man I haven't even thought about it in a long ass time. I briefly tried scanning the graph but wasn't having any luck. Didn't feel like dicking with it so I just quit. I'm thinking about taking her back in and just doing a few runs now that I've got the new clutch. But at the same time, it feels fast under my ass so do I really need a number to verify that? Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 12, 2006 Report Posted January 12, 2006 That's cool by me. Just wanted to know what you decided. Quote
