  4. depends on what time you intend on calling, i work swing shift. i can reached @ 12:30-2:30 on monday through thurs and im o ff friday -sun. gimme a call friday at 2:00 the number is 870-653-4320, i am still jetting it, and i know i should have already done this but i have been really busy, but i will finish tuning this weekend.
  5. it runs on 100 octane the compression is 190lbs and it runs very good with that compression, you'll have to have the domes cut or get big bore dome, i got some 18 inch fast trekkers on the rear on black rims and stock aluminum rims and tires on from. another thing is the guy that had the bike before me welded the propeg ententions on cut em off the bolt the stock pegs on if you want, i found out that the frame is brand spanking new.
  6. I have a banshee for sale the guy i bought it from said it was a 2000 model. when i got it all the plastic was off and the motor was out. the frame was powerder coated black it has a texture to it. the axle, swing arm, a arms, and some other stuff has been chromed. the motor came with an exploded clutch side bearing so i replaced it with a maxload bearing and checked the clearance on the crank. The crank is a 5mm stroker w/ long rods in perfect shape. i went through the whole motor new blaster pistons and custom cut domes for the wicked head, new clutch, new clutch rod and bearing. it has a billet adjustable stator plate, 30mm carbs, the current cylinders that are on it havent been ported but i have a set that are ported i may stick on there, it runs good, out there on the sand with no porting i have beat just about everything other than drag banshees. my location is texarkana ar and im 180miles from dallas tx. il try to load some pics if it will let me. the price is 2500 neg.
  7. they are the actual cheetahs, the original owner of the cylinders bought them without even having the powervalve holes machines in i guess so it will be cheaper, and my thoughts were to buy them and have trinity machine powervalves into them, well i called them and they said what done is done, that sounds like a crock of shitake to me. they are 7mm cheetahs. my compression is 180lbs. i dont know the thing just feels like it doesnt have enough carb but it goes both ways because it could be the pipes, but i know the carbs are big enough to atleast get 80+hp.
  8. I recently bought some used cheetah cylinders without the powervalves and bolted them on. my crank is 7mm my carbs are 34pjs, fmf sst's and my elevation is about 1000ft. my mains went from 135 to 178 since i upgraded the cylinders but the power is the same or less than my mildly ported stock cylinders. My builder said something about case porting wihich it doesnt seem to me that that would slow me down that much, and he also said my pipes which seems more logical to me, but im no expert any ideas anyone? it feels like about 60-65HP one other thing, i got the 68m pistons.
  9. i got that same set of carbs from ebay with the aritifial k&n's. They are not keihins but they are pretty good. they come with 50 pilots and 155 mains, they were to lean for me, the guy that sold them to me was pretty nice and worked with me on shipping (to a po box). If you buy them order them without the fake K&ns though they are junk and the boot that connect to the carbs arent made that way, they are pop on boots that are prone to leak. You will notice a bottomend loss but they carbs have awesome midrange to topend with decent bottomend.
  10. hi im from close to texarkana its a town called fouke, I run fatties and clamp ons on one of my banshees with +5
  11. i have a 7mm stroker banshee and am thinking of upgrading to cubs, i have 34mm pj carbs and open k&n's with billet intakes and fmf sst pipes. how much horsepower will i be looking at approximately? thanks
  12. I recently bought the wickeatv 34mm pj carb setup, they came with 155 or 150 mainjets in them, i installed them and my machine was running way rich, this doesnt sound right you guys have machines with 178's and 165 and 155's and by the time I got my machine all jetted right i found myself using 135 mainjets--WTF, i cant even utilize the crappy jets that come with the carbs and im running 175 lbs of compression, 7mm stroker crank, dune port with 26mm exhaust port, 4

  14. I got some 30 pwks with k&n knock off's trade, I like the power of the 30mm carbs but i dont like their slide and needle configuration, i need to upgrade to bigger ones, let me somethings.
  15. 55HP i have seen 4mm strokers only get 63HP and they have 34mm carbs
  16. i bought one didnt work, the cable was faulty, so i emailed her and she sent me another no questions asked, got it installed have to really accomodate it to fit, its very accurate, but here recently my cuz rode my shee to the car wash and when he came back my topspeed was odd, he doesnt know it records top speed and hes 100 lbs light, well my top speed was 98mph and he came back it said top speed 194mph, and its not on km/h, so i think its reliability is questionable.
  17. you jetting should be 270 280's at most, my 03' had 270 which i thought was perfect jetting but when i tore the topend down it showed a little lean. banshee are bad about starving fuel to the right cylinder, get a pingel and get it over with
  18. i run a stroker banshee with stock ports and it runs great, from what i have learned is 100oct isnt enough for 185 lbs of compression especially if the timing is advanced, are you running blaster pistons or series 795 pistons, the blaster pistons vs. banshee squish differ 2
  19. you'll be fine because the series 795 pistons have a piston pin height that is 5mm closer to the crown which will yeild the longer rod, the spacer plate yeilds the additional stroke.
  20. i have a 7mm stroker banshee, i dont know how old this post is but heres my .02 first the good things about the 7mm crank.... No more lowend bog, its a torquey bike compared to stock stroke with all the difference in the world, the powerband isnt as peeky which is what some love, but dont get me wrong its sill fun and peeky, but not as tiring. I have so much duration on my exhaust ports and the bike still pulls hard on bottom, my favorite thing about it is the roads around here where i live are really curvey and before i would have to get down into 3rd gear to pull hard out of them, now i can easily swing around them in 4 or 5th and lug it, then power comes on almost immediately sending my front end skyward. Now for the bad things, new porting, cut domes, sufficient carburetion(34pjs), gas mileage, stronger clutch, main thing is the money, i have came along ways on mine and alot of the time i wish i had kept stock stroke because i remembered alot of worry free riding i did, and i have had nothing but hell with this 7mm stroker, but thats cuz i didnt have the money i needed to do the job correctly well now i have everything in order the compression is a little high(195) was 215 then i shaved the domes .030 more and dropped it to 195. my setup consists of wicked head, blaster pistons, crank works 7mm crank, shaved flywheel, wicked 34mm setup $$$750!, pingel<-----do not even attempt to ride you bike without it, wicked clutch<--works good$$130!, FMF sst's, 4
  21. gotta 96' seadoo with trailer for sale dont run needs a comoputer or something electrical has ape pipe and ignition, make offer prefer to trade though, located in the texarkana tx area, 188 miles outside of dallas. thanks
