rotaxshee Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 New here and wanted to know what my banshees hp would have it has tors removal kit, trinity 4 pipes, 400 big bore, ported, milled, ac bumper, lazerstar lights, flame grill cover, skat trak paddles, 450 front shocks...i had a name on here before but i forgot it so i made a new one.ill get pics soon thanks Quote
itsaripper Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 Well lets see, the bumper, lazerlights, flame grill, and the 450 shocks, should be good for atleast 10 HP each. Then the pipes, 400 kit,and porting should be good for 5 hp each. So your about 55 hp. Do you believe that? I am the bench racing champion. Anything else you need to know? Really the only way your hp will be know, is to take your bike to a dyno and pay them to see how much hp it makes. Quote

I would guess it would be more in the 60's range depending on what pipes/port job you have. Stock carbs? etc.? But true, the only way to be able to back it with absolute confidence is to take it to a dyno. Quote

dawarriorman Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 No no no, the grill's hp depends on whether its aluminum or stainless. 10 hp for the aluminum (unless its newly polished, then it could be up to 12), while the stainless is good for 15-20 depending on how much it cost. Now hopefully you have stickers for all these mods, cuz without the stickers, then you aren't getting near the hp that you could. Quote

You have to place the stickers in places where people will see them no matter where they are. You have to have 4 of each sticker, in places where they won't affect your aerodynamic coefficient, and will help your weight balance, but you also have to make sure that you can see at least one of each sticker no matter where you are. Trust me it works, I have a 125 hp banshee that hasn't even been ported yet. I learned from the best, Honda civic guys Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 hey i use stickers... in place of bolts... bolts have the most drag and more weight... sheesh you guys.. c'mon!!! Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 im thinking 60s. ya gotta take it to a dyno like everyone else said though. 433596[/snapback] What good is a dyno? It only measures hp to the rear wheels. They don't factor in the skid plates or handgrips. Quote
NEVER SATISFIED Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 handgrips... and those are used forrrrrrr?.................... Quote
