Who uses Castor 927?

I just had a motor builder tell me he sees more failures from Castor 927 than any other oil and does not recommend it ( I use it). Does anyone use it and have you had any problems

i ran 927 in my alky bikes and never had a seizure or piston failure due to my premix.927 is good stuff.

Run it in my dirt bikes(power valve) with av gas, run it in the banshee with 110 , done my own top ends, never had a problem here.

I have used it for years at 32 to 1 with 110. No problems at all. Ya gotta love that smell.

927 is what i use and never had any problems.i use a mix of 40:1 .i mix it with turbo blue.castor 927 is probally one of the best oils out there.yeh i do love the smell too.

i have run maxima 927 for 5 years. never had a engine failure. even after 500 hours on my pistons, there was still hone marks in the cylinders. it is good stuff. i run 44 :1 with pump premium gas.that stuff will seperate from the fuel in temps below 32 degrees. so watch out in the winter time after the gas has set. make sure you shake it up and remix it.

927 is probably the best oil available, Ive used it for over 20 years. Just make sure to keep your cans shaken before fueling(everytime) and if the cans sit for more than a week shake them extra good. It also helps to run your carbs dry after your done riding for the day, otherwise you will be extra rich on oil the next time you fire up. 40-1 is more than enough protection with 927...Jim

I use the 927 and never had any problems.I mix 50:1.I have tried Neo T2 at 100:1 for a while but I don't like it because it gums everything up even at 100:1,The 927 is deffinately a cleaner burning oil.

i have used it many times ,i think its really good oil ,i prefer klotz supertechnaplate ,but both contain castor and are topnotch oils in my experiances

I have used 927 for many years now! Never had a failure due to oil. In my opinion much better than the other stuff. What do they call it Klotz superringeater.
