$50 for the shock $25 for the lights if anybody is interested let me know.

I have a stock rear shock for sale. It's been in my garage for awhile, it's used but as far as I know it's still good. I also have a set of stock headlights and tail light, all the wires and plugs are there. Im cleaning out my garage so if anybody is interested in any of these things let me know.

Have you checked your spark plug caps, I have had my bike run bad because of those. I always changed mine about 2 times during the race season.

For flattrack and TT racing you dont need one, save your money and buy a good front end (A-Arms and Shocks).

I use a -2.5 no-link lone star swing arm, you will not find anything out that will give you more traction in any condition.

I have +3 +1 on mine and I think that is the only way to go. I have afco dual rate long travel shocks on the front so you can pick the front end up all the way to your waist and the front wheels are still making contact with the ground. As far as handling I didnt notice any real difference from +2 a-arms. I use hypertech rims and I dont remember what the offset ( im in Iraq right now so I cant look) is but they are offset in as far as they can go which makes it alittle easier on your arms. Just my $0.02

Asphalt races are fun. I have been in a few, I did one with coke syrup put down. That track was fast, small but fast

I tried running stagger at a few different tracks and never really found any advantage in doing it. One thing I alway did was if the track turned dry slick I would keep the axle nut on my left rear tire lose enough (keep a pin in it) to take off by hand and I would turn the tire around to where it was off set in for traction.

I wonder how this new law will effect races, is Johnny Law going to come to every race and not let me race. When did this come into effect I have been in Iraq for awhile and this is the first time I heard of it?

what brand of throttle did you buy? I have always used the magura 1/4 twist, it does take alot of getting use to. Im like you I grew up racing bikes and I cant ride with a thumb throttle. Like alot of the other guys said I would look for kinks and sharp bends in the cable and try to lube it.

I used a -3.5 lone star no link swing-arm. I ran a -2 for along time and then switched to the -3.5 and loved it.

I've been pretty busy myself, I'm going on active duty July 1st so I wont have much time for anything. When I get back from Iraq I might get a new bike.

I agree, I had one and raced it cross country. It really surprised me how well it handled and the top end it had. No there is no way it would beat my banshee but I think it is a better bike than people give it credit.
