  1. Then where do they go? I already have one on the end of the crank, one on the end of the counter shaft, and one on the end of the main shaft.
  2. Theres a pic of them. They are definetly not from the crank or transmission, I have all 3 of those already. Its smaller than the crank and big tranny one, and bigger than the small tranny one. Thank you!!
  3. I have recently started to rebuild my friend shee. Someone else ripped the entire thing apart, so now I am finding parts laying around and trying to put this thing back together. I have 2 half moon clips left over. They are like the ones that hold the crank bearing and tranny bearings in the case, but they are a little bit smaller than the crank clip. I have looked everywhere to find out where these things came from! Can anyone please help? I am very desperate!
  4. Hey I was wondering if a 35mm 2in1 carb set up would be alright for my quad, or is that carb too big? VF3 Reeds, cool head 20cc domes, timing plate +4 degrees, and fmf gold series pipes. No porting or boring or stroking. Thanks
  5. I have the trail tech vapour, and it records the total engine running time. If I am just logging road cruising I can get 2 hours till i'm on reserve, but if i'm given er I will get about an hour and a half. I don't see how anyone can get 4 hours on a tank... but thats just my thoughts
  6. Yeah they are stock shocks. Would ratchet straps work?
  7. Hey I need help removing the springs on my shocks so that I can get them powder coated. Does anyone have any idea on how to do it? thank you
  8. I checked my carrier and swingarm bearings and they are good. I will try that sharpie trick next time i go riding though.
  9. There is a weird noise coming from the rear end of my shee. It feels like the chain is skipping the sprocket, or some kind of spline jumping another one, but my chain and sprockets are brand new and my chain is tight. It happens like if I do a wheelie and I get to the balance point, then I give it another shot of gas and "clunk clunk clunk" really fast. Or the other day i was riding in the snow spinning out, then it got grip and did it did the same thing again. I have new bearings in my axle carrier too, that was my first thought.
  10. Hey, I am putting a cool head on my quad, and a timing plate. I currently have fattys, and v force 3 reeds. I am running 290s and 27.5s. I realize that i will have to run higher octane gas because of higher compression, but will I have to rejet? thanks
  11. Nice bike! Free bump
  12. Yeah thats a good lookin bumper! I think that if you get rid of some of that yellow, it would match up even better.
  13. Looks pretty sweet man!
  14. Maybe stuck floats? I'd start with taking your carbs off and give em a good clean.
  15. I didn't use another battery...? I just tapped into the stator and it works perfect, shift lights, temp lights and backlights. Of course when you rev it up the screen lights up just like the headlights, and the backlight kind of flickers when its idleing. As for a clamp it comes with 2 plastic ones, one for fat bars and one for regular. There is a model for the Banshee, clicky Darren
  16. I installed my Vapor and I would like to say that it is awesome! It was fairly easy to install and I would recommend this product. When I took one of the wires out of the package the wire pulled right out of the plug. I phoned trail tech and they sent me a new one right away at no cost (and I live in canada). They have a very accurate way of setting up the speedo too. You travel down a road where the distance is know, and then you see how far the trail tech says it is, then it gives you this equation to put it in and it will give you your exact tire size. I topped it out going 120km/h and its stock gearing with 22" rears and fattys. It has shift lights and temp lights too (which you can set to whatever you want. Overall I would say that for $100 (canadian) it was definetly worth it. Trail Tech Vapor
  17. yeah my town is right on the water but i live a little bit outta town, its about 200ft above, if that. Snopczynski, Port Alberni is about just below halfway on vancouver island, just above Nanaimo.
  18. Would I have to change my jetting if I went to Oregon? I am pretty much at sea level right now, but I am in BC Canada. Would I have to jet bigger? I am running fattys with air filter and v force 3's. 290 mains with 27.5 pilots. Thanks a lot
  19. I just bought some of them and I love em! They throw a crazy roost and they seem to be wearing well.
  20. Very nice! What kind of motor mods do you have done?
  21. I have heard that the paddle tires that are straight across are ment more for drag racing and going straight, and the paddles that are angled are more for just free riding and playing around? Is this true? Thanks
  22. Thanks for your replies everyone. I've seen yfz shocks go for $150 before on ebay, but I think that I am going to save up and get some aftermarket ones that are ment for the banshee. Thanks again.
  23. I was considering doing the yfz shock switch with my banshee, but i think that it may be too stiff. I ride in all different area's, some logging roads, mostly of 3rd-6th gear trails (full of potholes and roots), and some 1st and 2nd gear trails. It feels ok with the stock shocks, but I know it would be better. Do you think yfz shocks would be the answer? or would I be better with works shocks (which I don't have the money for). thanks a lot Darren
  24. Port Aberni, B.C., on Vancouver Island. I am going to Horsfall in the summer somewhere in the middle of July with some friends.
