thedoctorupton Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 i am in the process of rebuilding my motor and decided to port the jugs. the question is about the pistons, which are std. weisco prolites, are they supposed to have the same size windows? i mean when i look through the intake i can see a big difference, should they match? by the way i used race logic port maps i would appreciate any help, thanks. bansheefreestyler Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 i would think the exhaust should be bigger because more fuel enters then exhaust leaves Quote

Lots of shops do piston mods. The bigger the window the shorter the life of the piston. I do it to all my motors. Here is a Wiseco Blaster piston and a Wiseco blaster piston with the mod. Stock banshee piston in the back ground. http://community.webshots.com/photo/240071...255549995yQCAlN Here is a Wiseco Banshee piston and a Wiseco Banshee piston with the mod. The Wiseco piston comes bigger than the stock piston as you can tell from the previous picture. http://community.webshots.com/photo/291290...291290837gTWVFx Quote
Rare Scottish Tree Badger Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 The bigger the window the shorter the life of the piston. Why is that? Great pics. I've seen your pic with the stock piston in the background before, but not the two Banshee Wisecos together. Rare. Quote
RBD Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Please note! Although the pic's are nice that KEVSWS6 links to, they will load lots of spy-wear on your computer. When I went to look at the pic's it loaded 11 data-minor spy programs on my computer Quote

RBD Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Hi KEVSWS6, It simply puts tracking programs on your computer so they can see what sites you visit and adds to your cookies. I use a free program called Ad-aware 6.0 and use it to scan my computer every time my pop up blocker alerts. Usually when pop ups adds are detected they are adding spy-ware to your computer. Sorry you're taking the pic's down, as it is nice to see others and their projects. Ron Quote
