Dead Op Posted June 17, 2005 Author Report Posted June 17, 2005 I saw the zrt 1200 do 175.7 mph at wisconsin before. Oh by the way it definitaly wasn't a stocker Quote
Master of Faster Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Have you seen the Modzilla sled? Built by Anderson. I think that one runs in Wisconsin too but not sure. It has twin 1400cc Union Bay motors. One of the last runs I saw it blew a belt at 1400 ft and coasted through the 2000' traps at 192.2 mph Quote

twinzr900 Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 SRX and speed dont mix. actually any yamaha snowmobile and speed dont mix b/c there is no such thing as a fast yamaha UNLESS it has turbo. if u want to be fast ARCTIC CAT Quote
broke Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 the only thing I have to brag about, was a few F7 kills with my dinosaur, MXZ800X. The damn thing is just much faster than it should be. I will be interested this year to tear it apart and see if the ports have had any work done to it. I guess the F7 is the target of most other sled owners, that's soemething to be proud of right there. Quote
420 RACING Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 Here are a few from this past winter in the UP of michigan Quote
Master of Faster Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 The only place an F7 or ZR9 is fast is in a short distance race on loose snow or on the grass. Out on the lakes where we race the only twin cylinder sled we even take seriously is the new Mach Z. You can only go so fast with two cylinders, Arctic Can't made a big mistake droppin the T-Cat.
