The bike all of a sudden, started to bog between (about) 1/8 and 3/4 throttle. Same temp, same riding area, no new mods.....

It bogged till about 3/4 throttle when the powerband kicked in. I played with the air screws, but that did nothing. I switched out the 27.5 pilots, put the 25's back in, and adjusted the air screws again. The bike ran great. It doesnt make sence(to me).

I read over the jetting FAQ again, and it sounds like i should lean out the needle(i'm on the 2nd from the top now), put the 27.5's back in, and adjust the air screws.

Just looking for others opinions..

my mods...noss head(19 or 20 domes), K-n-N, fatties, V-force reeds, 320 mains, 2100 feet above sea level, and 60F out

If it likes the stock pilots then stay w/ the stock pilots. I've never seen a shee run better w/ larger pilots on fmf pipes w/ no other mods..but thats around here. Others claim otherwise, but who cares what others say, listen to your shee, shee'll tell you..I've always found stock pilots and richen the needles work better on fmf's..

speaking of pilot jetting i dont know why these companys push the 30 pilots so much seems alot the aftermarket jet co. and engine builders all recommend the 30 pilots ,ive jetted lots of freinds shes and my own as well and ive never personally seen where a she runs any better. 27.5 or stock seems to be plenty of fuel /air in the slow circuit on stock carbs.
