Thats the way to do it if your looking to save some money.If you don't want to mess with it yourself,go here:Temp Gauge

 

There used to be someone on here who made a poly "T" fitting that would work with a temp gauge and it was also a small inline cooler.

To me that temp gauge looks like it would vibrate around a lot. There used to be pictures of some better ones on here that were mounted in the fender.

I have one of those guages (Warp Drive) and it works great, does not vibrate at all, actualy pretty sturdy.

i have the thermo mod on mine. the problem i have is the vibrations of the motor made the needle move out of alignment. it read 58 degrees when i stuck it in the snow. maybe i just need to find a better quality thermometer. i was using a accu-rite i think

get a 2" autometer gauge its got prfect reading temps its awesome looks good too

I have a 2" autometer manual temp guage it only lastest about 2 months until the needle just quite working. However I noticed autozone now has electronic autometer guage that shouldn't vibrate apart $30 I think.

How can we run an electronic? Stator won't work it will it?
