347cid Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I am a SSgt C-5 Flying Crew Chief for the Air Force..... pretty much, my job is to inspect and maintain this hog. I am considered part of the flight crew, and my job is very rewarding at times. There isnt anything like working on this plane in iraq with rpg's going off all around, and everyone is relying on you to get this jet into the air. Quote

Oh, breaktime now(11:20 am) and time to hit the garage for awhile to put my dirty carbs back together! Try that at your jobs! Quote
DUNEDEMON Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Hey dunedemon, i was kinda curious on how much that job pays. if you dont mind me asking. Not nearly enough! (but it's fun) So in order to pay the bills I do a fair bit of chassis set up and suspension consulting for some local sand rail manufacturers (yeah can you believe it?) on the side which translates into usally working 6 days a week, my wife just finished medical school with her masters in X-Ray technology, now working on the ultra-sound portion. That suff is expensive! and I pay for it all, no financial aid, but she started working 3 weeks ago so I'm one step closer to starting my own business. Quote
