I f*ck around with Environmental Systems, Canopy Systems, Aviators Breathing Oxygen Systems, and Ejection Seats. It's not a bad job. It's an old jet to work on, but hopefully not much longer. LOL as a matter of fact I haven't had to lay the smack down since I was 15.....maybe my perrinial grin has something to do with it...(I've had to bark a few times though.) Anyhoo...The job we did for Strauss was through another machine shop about 10 years ago. I had no idea they were tree huggin hippies.... Makes me sad, as Levi's are about the only pants I can stand to wear. Everyone else is making those fucking cargo pants and those god damned stupid carpenters pants. I won't wear carpenters pants because the LAST thing I need is a handle on a machine, or something sticking out some where to catch on a loop or those big rediculous pockets. If I were a carpenter....I'd probably wear them. I might be switching back to Dickies for work clothes soon. I just like them better for working. Quote

When I was trying to decide what I wanted to do back when I was about 18 I considered law enforcement, and SWAT was a direction I would have taken. My pops knew a few people at the local level, and I had friends at the county level, and they said it was a tough job, but rewarding. At my parents house, actually across the street, the city condemned a few houses, and the local SWAT did simulated hostage rescues with the dummies n stuff. They were launching the flash bangs and had their guns loaded with blanks too. They came and told my parents before they started so they wouldn't flip out and think the neighborhood was being invaded.... Then the fire department came in and burned the houses down. It was a busy week that week. Quote
