Tip on using the polish is to use cotton(the type your old lady uses on her face)put it on and off with it.

You know how funny thats going to look....me walking through the make up isle at WalMart buying cotton balls......

How well does that work over using a terry cloth towel, or a flannel rag?

Stan all the polishing I've done over the years on hot rods, the Banshee and every other thing that has a glitter the cotton works the best, seems to leave the billet more clear(no fine scatches)ahhhhhhhh it just came to me who gave me that tip, whats his name at RMW billet.

I used to use mothers and I tried eagle ones old fashioned majic wadding. It is a can of cotton wadding (like the cotton balls) with polish all ready soaked into it. You just tear off a piece and polish away with it till its all black and no good then you take an old hanes cotton undershirt and wipe it down polishing as you go. the stuff works great and its under $5 at k mart. try it out, I think youll like it.

Simichrome metal polish is by far the best I've used. Its not just for aluminum,it also works great on brass, copper, stainless, nickel etc.
