SICK BOY Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 They must be f$cking idiot'S.And I thought our dealership was nuts charging $5.00 a piece. Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 at our local aftermarket shop they run like 4.50 a piece for either pilots or main jets. i thought that was kinda rediculous. Quote

evil Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Here pilots are $7.50 each for the stock Mikuni's, and $4.00 for mains each. same here, but at a dealer there double Quote
brugal Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Dealerships suck pointblank.I dont buy anything from them... Quote
BansheeBrian Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Only pay dealership prices out of desperation! If you broke your shee saturday and a big ride is on Sunday, sometimes you'll just have to eat those gouging prices. Those prices are to rip off the riders that don't know that lower pricing is avaliable elsewhere. They prey on the gullable and nieve. Quote
kcroyalsfan69 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Yeah, at the local shop here pilots or mains are 2.50 apeice. Hate to break it to ya, but it sounds like they didn't even lube you up before you got f$cked Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 You gotx to bargin hunt. Let the owner of that shop know that you ain't a sucker. If he tells you it's 24 bucks per jet, look him in the eye and say that you could get them for 4 bones a pop and ask if he's trying to rip you off. After you do that to him a few times, he'll know better and just try to sucker an easier target. Quote
SDD Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Most of the time dealerships don't make that much off the sale of a bike. It's the selling of parts and other aftermarket items that kills ya. I get a decent discount at my local shop so parts are not that bad. Quote
banshee tuner Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I work at the dealership and get yamaha parts at a good price but aftermarket parts are so high cause the cost is high. I can buy aftermarket parts cheaper online. Quote
