jumpman23 Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 Well with everyone wanting to know their horsepower I was also hoping you guys could help me. I have Pro-Circuit pipes and silencers, milled head, no airbox w/ k&n, 320 mains, tors removed. I think those are all of the engine mods I have so far. V-force reeds are next. I also have new adj. a-arms, new sprockets and o-ring chain, new clutch springs, new gasket cyl head and throttle kit. So what do you guys think my HP is? Thanks! Quote
sredish Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 So what do you guys think my HP is? I'm sure there is a dyno close by. Check around the local shops and they'll tell you where one is. Best $40 you can spend. Quote
banshee boy 98 Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 a set of pipes and jetting it with k&n filters is not going to double your hp!! that motor should be making around 35-37 hp. Quote
dnhyoung Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 If you really want to know your HP. You should call Cascade Innovations. They have a dyno, and for $50.00 you get 6 runs. Quote
Motoman991 Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 35hp with pipes, isnt that what a stock banshee makes? i would guess around 50 Quote
streetshee Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 i dont know where u guys are getting ur figures from but a standard shee gives 54 hp,maybe 37 at the rear wheels. Quote
bansheeman95 Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 come on guys, be realistic,,,, i have porting, 17cc domes, 28mm carbs, cpi inframes, vitos pistons, stock crank and it puts out 67hp/37ft. lbs. with 111 race gas. a stock banshee usually puts out no more than 35 hp. if you are lucky. -BM95 Quote

Ducman Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 ducmans HQ calibrated dyno says (50+45+35+37+50+45+50+50+37)/9= 45.44hp right on the F**ken money, no more no less, you can take that shit to the bank. Throw in some new plugs, clean the air filter and I'll give you and additional 0.25 hp. Quote
