If i have taken out my air box and air filter and i want to just have the K&N clamp on's where do i place my coolant overflow bottle...or is there a way to use the clamp on's and the air box?so i could keep original bottle location

Get rid of it and just run a vent line down the side of the radiator. Clamp on on the ends of the carb put a lot of stress on the intake boot. If your not carfull, you'll pop a carb out under heavy abuse, particularly MX.

you can buy a bracket for it. Personally i just cut the back off my stock air box and used that as a bracket. Just cut off the screw holes and the two mounts that hold the rubber gromits.

I went to town on my airbox....cutting the end off and using it for the bottle. I also cut away the middle of the box, completely exposing the K@N. I left the front on, so Im running a 2:1. Works great. And I dont have to worry about the weight on the carbs....cause the stock airbox has those flanges on the front for barring the weight.

Fixitrod;    Thanks for great tip and very good site.

No problem. I not sure who made that site, but I reference it everytime somebody ask about the coolant bottle. Mines always full since I moved it.
