Hold on!!!!

You have 2 ways to get DC on a banshee

1- Buy a kit ( https://www.jdscustoms.com/product/jl-engineering-complete-dc-conversion-kit/)

2- Do the floating ground mod on your stator.

These are 2 differents things!!

I wonder if the previous ownser didn’t do a DC conversion since he was running leds. 

 

I guess theres no way to tell unless I pull the flywheel.

You can look and see what he has for a voltage regulator if it's stock or if it's an aftermarket rectifier/ regulator...

You don't have to have the battery like the JL... it's nice but, with the Floated ground and the rectifier, the stator/rectifier just runs your DC circuit separately, ie. your lights
