Codyshep Posted February 26, 2018 Author Report Posted February 26, 2018 Understandable. I always go for oem when I have the money for it. A local atv shop owner I know swears by Ricky stator parts. But only time will tell. If not going to be going oem no matter what. Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 I'd for sure only change 1 thing at a time, harness first if your sure that the problem.Fire it up after each change. Ricky's Banshee stuff is known to be bad right out of the box Quote
Codyshep Posted February 26, 2018 Author Report Posted February 26, 2018 Yes it's for sure the wiring harness. And thank you I will do that. If these parts are shit then I will be going with oem all the time. Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 If it's "for sure the wiring harness" they why in the fuck are you wasting your money on that other junk?Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk Quote

Codyshep Posted February 26, 2018 Author Report Posted February 26, 2018 Because the other shit got fried too.thats why Quote
sleeper06 Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 Can you post pics of harness problem. The electronics are pretty resilient on these bikes, might wanna try oem shit loosely before using the after market Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 27, 2018 Report Posted February 27, 2018 That aftermarket stuff is total fucking junk. You're going to have more issues now than you did before. Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted March 11, 2018 Report Posted March 11, 2018 I'm sure curious if you got 'er going? Is your local ATV specialist still a big fan of Ricky? Quote
Codyshep Posted March 11, 2018 Author Report Posted March 11, 2018 I got her going finally. The harness was melted near the exhaust. And the stator was completely shot. Quote
Codyshep Posted April 7, 2018 Author Report Posted April 7, 2018 So I got it going finally was the stator the whole time. But I had to replace clutch push rod and bearing and adjustment screw due to friction welded itself together. And also had to replace the clutch engagement arm that gos down into case. When I replaced that arm I had to remove left carb. Put all back together and now won't start. Gets fuel, has good spark and good compression so I don't get what's going on here. Quote
Codyshep Posted April 7, 2018 Author Report Posted April 7, 2018 Yes it's connected I'm so confused as to why it won't start Quote
