spurdy Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I have no problems with my Matoon one. I'd never put aluminum bolts in it though. I'm surprised to see that. To each his own. I looked up the shear strength of the M8 bolts use and feel comfortable with the bolts considering the estimated load exerted from the brake lever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I had three of those rezzies and could never get them to stay. Carlo bled one at the HQ ride a couple years ago and it didn't hold either. Front brakes FTW. Quote

RagunCajun Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 That reminds me i need to replace my SS brake hardware with stronger hardware. Quote
PaymentPlan Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Once I got mine bled, I haven't had any issues. But if I do I will find something else. Not sure I have the mount any longer for the stock Rez. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm on the same boat. I have no mounts for stock setup, so the only option I seen was Matton. If I find something otherwise I'll share with ya. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Quote

spurdy Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 What do you mean by stay? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk They continually got air in the circuit or wasn't bled completely and would go soft. Only way I've had success it to bench bleed them. Won't open the line unless I have too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 All these fellas unloading them used sure kept their mouth shut about a safety issue... Glad I never bolted it on. Thanks loco... 1 Quote
spurdy Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I know I saw Tyler mention it a while ago, but never seen anyone else I still run two of them. Haven't had any issues since I bench bled them. But I won't open the circuit unless I have to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
