Got a 421 as cast serval 35mm pwk pro curcuit set up for trail riding for my son goes really smooth bottom mid range hold on and top is gone ( not as good as drag pipe but good none the less

Anyway got another serval for me just got it from redline ported this time

Looking for killer low end but have a bit more on top so 29.5 pwk and I'm thinking slp pipes got everything except pipes(current have another set of pro curcuits)

In getting carbs ready jet, float level power jet etc as I was mock fitting to airbox boots they wouldn't fit no I run a heavily modded air box with many air box vents all the way around the box that flows as good as my k&n no box I've tested

Does anyone run 28s on airbox I thought they where a fit for stock rubber air box boots what do you get

I have to run airbox where I ride

Can anyone help

Yes probably saw a redline ported 421 serval make 96 with 28s ( shearers ) so the carbs can do it but the slp cut at even less than pros but the curve should go straight up to max rather than curve out at the top

But my question is what boots will fit carb to air box

I'm not sold on these slp pipes out performing all the traditional inframes until we see a direct comparison to pro circuits and dmc

I know that my motor on PC's will never make the same peak that they have on a few other pipes. But the SLP's seem to allow a similar peak number, without the bike needing to be in peak RPM's.

Very interested to see how these SLP's do on one of Cam's Servals. If you run the 28's, you'll need to run a pingel.

They're going to look the same as JD's motor did.. They're going to pull very hard off bottom but sign off early on top.

The Servals are really looking good with a top end pipe like Sniper, CPI or Shearer.

I think the biggest question is how much difference is there in bottom and mid range power on the Serval using a mid range style of pipes versus the top end pipes.

I intend to find out when I make my next Oregon trip thus summer by stopping at Cams to dyno my PT High Revs versus some Snipers.

With the Servals already low port timing they're going to have a ton of power down low but sign off really early, same as JD's stock cylinder setup.

You're going to sacrifice a ton of RPM up top with a bottom to mid-range pipe.

What I'm trying to get at is how much difference with there be in the low/mid using the mid range pipes versus higher revving.

Meaning, are you only sacrificing top end and rev out, or is there a negative effect across the entire curve with the Serval, especially one that is ported.

I'd be curious what LED could make for a serval. I was extremely happy with 97/52 on my Shearers.
