ohSIXshee Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 Im in the process of doing a dc conversion to run leds. I also want to relocate the cdi, battery and rectifier. Would this be ok or will it not run right with the different components this close together? Quote
ohSIXshee Posted October 25, 2014 Author Report Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) Also have a question about the ground i have racetech dc stator has 2 wires going to rectifier. Now does ground the battery to the frame? Edited October 25, 2014 by ohSIXshee Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Keep the coil away from the CDI Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 My coil and CDI on both my bikes are about 4" apart. It's not going to hurt anything. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 Few inches is cool. But when guys try to stack it all together it can give it a stutter at wot. Quote
ohSIXshee Posted October 26, 2014 Author Report Posted October 26, 2014 Coil is in stock location. So cdi should be good next to the left hand head light? Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Don't know how far you are along, but this is a sweet set-up... http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=179049&hl= Quote
