Ultimateduner Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 EBAY I bought these on Ebay but I don't know what kind of pipe they are. The seller said that they were FMFs but I don't know if they are sst, gnarly, rev, or fatty. My guess was Fatty what do you think they are? Quote
ledofthezep Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I believe your assumption is correct--look like Fatty's to me too. Quote
2001SSTBanshee Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Look like fatties to me too, They definately are NOT sst's. Quote
BenBB Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 My Fatty's don't have that bulge at the top, maybe Gnarly's? Good price tho, but that dent looks larger than a quarter... Quote
ShifT714 Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 yea look at the size of that dent!! thats fu(kin huge!!! there not SST's cuz thats wut i got, i would guess either older fattys or Gnarly's, l8r Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 i duno what they are but with the dent that size you don't want anything to do with them Quote
Chemical Castration Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 They look like the old school gold series pipes. Quote
Stylemaster Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 does not affect performance my ass.... those are shit you can get better used pipes from ebay than those Quote
Ultimateduner Posted November 20, 2003 Author Report Posted November 20, 2003 Well I really needed pipes and I was short on cash. The dent however I think that it was purposely put in there so it can fit into the frame, or at least I hope it is. Quote
Screamin_Demon Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 damn... i'd like to see what quarters he uses. Screw those pipes... look for something else.... the appearance alone isn't worth it, plus the dent doesn't help either. Quote
Ultimateduner Posted November 20, 2003 Author Report Posted November 20, 2003 I only bought them because I was short on cash and I have a special cleaner that can make them crome again. If they don't work than I can chrome them out and resell them. I'd probally make money on them. Quote
axle Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Maybe instead of saying quarter he ment to say quart of oil. Quote
Patriot Racing Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Does the FMF stamped logo have a circle around it or just FMF and kinda tilted to one side? If its the tilted logo, those are old school gold series....spongey bottom end, wicked hit in the middle, and rev out pretty dang good!!! Quote
