#1JUANstunna
If a 12inch pod makes 2-3 more hp than a 6inch pod on the same mtr wat would u do? Fugg it! No filter has to be betterer, than a 12" pod.

sheerider11
So now we are getting somewhere. Me and my pops had this convo when I was putting the bigger K&N pods on. He said there's no way that my motor (or any really) can out flow the pod. And he brought up the point that it'll only become ineffective once the airflow causes the pod to collapse. Now I don't have a flow bench so I can't make any claims to actual stats or test. But I think the same thing.
87sheerips
small pods win....
shanYE west
my personal opinion is.. that the longer filters allow a more direct path into the carb and creates less turbulance.. JMO.. but the specs of the filter show that there is no way that a 6" pleated gauze type filter is restricting flow. these motors are not moving 700cfm even at 15,000 rpm.
