I talked to dave in person plenty of times. Super nice guy that will help you anyway HE can. There is NO way to know for sure when dealing with used inventory if its hot or not. I can assure you dave would not jeopardize his business buying known stolen goods.

Right. That's why I said most professional shop WON'T/DON'T deal used parts. Because they CAN NOT be sure of the background of the person or parts.

I never said they sell stolen parts...... The OTHER guy told us first hand that it actually happened. If it was intentional or not is secondary to the story.

I don't understand. Nothing was said by anyone that wasn't 100% true.

As you pointed out....even on their site they clearly are open to dealing in used items.

There is no way for them to be sure those trade-in's weren't stolen.

The fact that stolen gear ended up in his shop is proof it actually happened.
