i have 3 more sitting here with either a bent rod or its snapped.....all happened when the motor was at low rpms

bent one a few days ago when the motor back fired

i was told these (builders)/(companys)..i know of 3 that sells them) are buying these cranks for $150 and reselling them for $400-$700 based on WHO you buy them from.

IMO if you get one with 29L/R on the rod SEND IT BACK!!!!....and if you already have it in your motor take it out and send it to crankworks an have them install the grey HOTROD rods on it.

So the cranks that herr juggs sells in his four mil kits are these Chinese knock off crank or are they hot rods ?

HOT ROD cranks are grey in color...(rods and web)

if there black and bronze .... well ?!?

Herr jugs does sell the chinese knock off crank as well as the hot rods. I bought my chinese toilet crank 2yrs ago from herr jugs, before they were found out to be garbage. At that time I was told it was a USA made crank. Bullshit!! I never used this crank yet either. Right now its in another case for mockup purposes only.

Hot Rod cranks also have the red aluminum spacer in the middle. Most other cranks have an aluminum gray one or a black one. Also Hot Rods cranks have Hot Rods conecting rods. It should say on the side of the rod.
