Bolt Sizes and Threads

Recommended Posts

I would like to put together a thread listing the proper bolts and nut sizes for the shee......from front bumper bolts to rear grab bar bolts.....

This will make it easy to get them at local hardware store..for those looking to save some coin

I am asking help with someone who has access to a manual for an easy reference

example:

Front bumper = M8 X1.25 4 req. - size only an example

A arm - etc.....

in your case i would just order kits/kit. they sell nice stator cover, clutch cover, intake bolts in a kit, or M&Matv can get you a entire kit for the bike.

When I painted my frame I ran a tap through all of the holes in it and I think there are only 3 different sizes (could have been one more but not sure). m6x1, m8x1.25, m10x1.25. The m6's are the fenders and stator cover and such. the m8's are the majority and the m10's like the foot peg bolts.

This is great work right here, I would STICKY this for sure.

Even though i still agree, buy a kit from alloy boltz or something, they are great kits and you will have tons and tons of extra bolts, everything is labeled to a T

I have purchased 6 of these over the yrs. Great buy in my opinion.
