Well what fuel did you run and what elevation are you at? Did you do a leak down test and a compression test before and after you run it?

Your going to have to split the cases and clean everything out and make sure your crank seals are not messed up also.

Damn that sucks.

93 oct and i dont know the elebation here in sw missouri. i did a compression test awhile back and if i can remember right it was around 140. so now would be the time to put another crank in it and start all over you think?

Not nessessarly take it appart and see how it looks. Melted pistons are caused from detonation, or excessivly lean. Lean can be caused by improper jetting, or an air leak. That is why you need to pressure test the engine when it is put back together.

If you need to know what elevation youre at, go to Google earth, and type in your address for your search, it will tell you along the bottom of your screen what the elevation at that address is.

When i have been out camping and melted down my motor i have removed the cylinders and filled my case up with gasoline and turned the bike over and rinsed out the cases, i did this several times until it came out clean and put it back together to finish out the trip. This has worked for me more than once when i was in a jam. If you are not that high in elevation 19cc domes warrent race fuel. B)

I haven't ever spilt the cases before nor do I really know what to look for. I've taken this bike over to a guy in Joplin and he has no clue what he is doing and keeps the bike for 3 or 4 months. It was my mistake by taking it to him 3 times. I will prob put a new crank in it if I have to spilt the cases anyway. Anybody have suggestions on what crank and what pistons I should go with.

I would tell you to get a 4mil crank but if your cylinders have an aggressive port job then they won't work with a 4mil crank, the port timings will be way off, you need to have them checked out if you are going to run the same cylinders. If your cylinders are good then you can run a 795 series piston and have your domes cut 2mils (.080) to allow for the stroke. Or just buy a cub set up for a 4mil
