  1. I have a set of McCoy ported stock cylinders that I just got back from getting a fresh 65.25 bore and I have brand new wiseco piston with it. $400 shipped
  2. Hopefully I will have time this weekend to check those things. Is there anything special that needs to be done to the pwk's before they can be fitted on the banshee? Besides the jets and needles.
  3. Held 6psi for 35 minutes. Came back two days later and it still had 2 psi on the gauge.
  4. We just put the biggest jet he had trying to get it not to go lean. We took them back out. I know that they would be too big. My 421 cub has 176 mains with the same carbs. I figured with 230 mains we could get it to stumble and fall off the power and we would go down from there. But it still pulled and went lean on the chart. Gonna play with it this weekend.
  5. The sensor is mounted under the dyno in a box. He has a hose with a metal wand that he sticks down the exhaust. The sensor is not directly put in the exhaust.
  6. As far as the fuel petcock goes, I replaced it with a bigger dual out style using 5/16 line to each carb. It weird cause it just kept pulling strong on the dyno. From past experience if it were going that lean it would lose power and backfire. I have considered that the 2stroke exhaust is messing with the 02 sensor but the guy running the dyno says he's done a lot of them on there. As far as what the curve does after 7 grand we don't know. As soon as it went lean he would back out of it. It made 59 HP up to that point. I have not ridden it to see how it rides mainly cause I'm paranoid. I might just have to suck it up and do a good ole fashion plug chop and see where I'm at. Has anyone had to adjust the floats on there new pwk's before install?
  7. Just got done building the new shee. Took it to get dyno tuned. When it hits 7000 rpm it spikes off the chart lean. Both cylinders react exactly the same. Pressure tested system, found it to hold 6psi for 30min. I'm running 33mm pwk's and installed 230 mains to see if it would change, didn't even bog, same results. Is it possible the floats need adjusted? I don't know what else would affect both cylinders the exact same. These are brand new carbs right out of the box with cel needles. Mods: Stock cylinders/trail ported/bored .30 FAST cool head/ 19cc domes Ported cases Vforce 3 reeds Boss intake 33mm pwk's Toomey t5 Timing advanced +4 Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I'm located in northwest, ks. I dont think i would be interested in another banshee. Thanks for the offer though. I guess I got spoiled with fuel injection. I would consider a nice 450.

  10. Ok then, what would you think this is worth. IDK, i just know how much i paid and how much was put into it and i'm already taking a huge loss with it. what is a 421 cub drag ported worth? i dont want to just give it away but i dont want to screw anybody either.

  12. Gonna let her go, just got it built. Has 1hr on complete rebuild. Its a little to wild for my style of riding and the wife wants to ride as well. I'm asking 5000.00 obo but would really just want to trade straight across for a Raptor 700 in good condition. I'm not interested in parting it out. Comes with dirt and sand tires. Let me know if interested.

  14. they are the stock fenders trimmed. the previous owner trimmed them that way.
  15. you guys guess its because of the two stroke phase out or just a bad economy. i sold my 06 raptor 700 for 4800 with just bolt ons a year ago. i guess things have changed. i noticed little sahara was dead last weekend. i have never seen it so bare.
  16. Thats what i was afraid of. i really dont want to part with it, just rather sell it as is. i don't have the stock crank or a good set of stock cylinders, thats why it is a 421. thanks for all the replies and i will have to see what happens in the near future on wether i sell it or not.
  17. Its not set in stone, but in might part ways with the shee. i took it to waynoka ok this weekend and found out its not my style.   18. i just pulled the cover again, double check the exploded views. i do have the thick washer in place. double check the basket for wear. everything is checking out. as far as i can tell the kick starter is in place. if i bump up the idle just a touch it goes away. did notice before it was quieter with gearsaver in it. i now have royal purple syncromax which has the viscosity of a atf. i guess i will just have to keep an eye on it.
  19. i just got mine together too. i also have this rattle only at idle and goes away when revved or clutch is pulled. it did it before the rebuild too. all trans bearings looked good and i do have a hinson clutch. i torqued all fasteners to spec. it has me stumped. it runs and shifts good.
  20. i just pulled the needles out. it has CEG needles. disregard the temp.
  21. i did try new plugs, spark is good with the tester.
  22. i just put in royal purple syncromax. it what i found at our dealership that said it worked in 2 cycle gear boxes. once i figure out the carbs then i will test it out. i have found it made a brand new camaro ss 6-speed shift better.
