advance auto parts 10w40.

Doesn't the fact that this stuff doesn't have any additives for a wet clutch pose a problem? I always thought that the trans oil for your banshee was supposed to have some sort of wet clutch additive, thats why atf is acceptable, and pretty much any motorcyle oil as well, I could be wrong. whats the deal?

i run spectra golden gear lube SAE 80. I'm in az and it shifts great with it. Clutch is still pretty new that i bought from cascade innovations. Pretty much all desert riding hear and forest roads up north.

I use Crisco without trans fat. Works like a charm...and when I crack open the dipstick to check the fluid it's like a popcorn and french fry factory.

In all seriousness...any oil will work.

If you're running a drag bike with an override, you should be using ATF Type F and change it every or every other race.

Bellray Gearsaver 80wt has worked great for me for the last two years. I've tried ATF type F twice and it sucks balls in my bike. I tried 10w40 and it wasn't that great either. I'm going to try the Klotz MTL next oil change though.

used to be a Bel-ray guy, now just ATF type F. I Have used 10-30, 10-40, 80W gear oil in the past... Everything worked and seemed the same lol.

Now just ATF type F.

I run Bel Ray 80w in my shee and run ATF in the boys' 2 shees. The owners manual actually calls for I think 10W30, maybe 10w40. Gonna switch over next season and see how it goes.
