Building my First Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 i use motul 800 mixed 70 to 1 and love it. the moter has always been super clean everytime i have took it apart. Really 70:1!! How often do you take it apart? I like Klotz at 40:1, I wouldn't feel safe any leaner than that, I like my bearings to get lubricated. It burns nice and clean without any carbon build up. The trans either some old school 10/40 or ATF Type F. Quote

AKheathen Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 ok, I'll add to this can of worms. i use torco GP-7 40:1 and that shit hangs everywhere without buildup. IMHO, the best shit out there. smells good, too in the tranny- gm auto trac II. the jurry is out on that one, but seems pretty good, so far Quote
Mike's Wife Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 That's what the guy said he was running when I got it. So I decided rather than switch it all at one I'd ease it into a leaner mixture. Now that my top end is being rebuilt, I'm going to 30:1. I believe that's how my husband mixes for his too. Quote
