so im tryin to squeeze a little more power out of my set up and was wonderin if i should have my stockers bored out to 28mm or just buy a set of 33PWK's? also, should i expect a noticable loss in bottom end with the 33's?

for those that done already know ive got t5's, +5 timing, 21cc domes, HJR duneport, and k&n filters w/outerwears (no airbox), and vforce 3's.

what kind of riding you do, and weight.. On all around dune bike that your not going to be drag racing all the time, 28's would be great. I would get a new set of 28mm pwk's tho..

i do all around riding in the dunes only, i weigh 160-165lbs. is the performance of the 28PWK's worth the price compared to bored stockers? i was thinkin if im gonna spend money for some PWK's then i might as well go big and get the 33's.

28mm pwk or mikuni tm carbs. Or you can just ask the guy who ported it what he would run.

when i talked to kevin, he recommended the 33's. basically im just tryin to figure out if the power gains from 33PWK's are gonna be worth the cost, since boreing out my carbs is gonna be fairly cheap.

there's a reason why boring your stockers is fairly cheap,,,,its because its not worth doing.a set of bought 28s will perform much better.i had a set of stockers bored for 60 bucks,i feel like it was wasted money.very little difference.the 33s should make a huge difference.

alright, so i was pretty much dead set on gettin some 33PWK's until i talked to a local builder and he said if he bored my carbs that he could get them to give me an increase of about 5hp. i was wondering if i could get him to make some sort of gurantee, like a 3 or 4hp increas atleast or money back or somethin, then do you guys think i should do it? he said it would cost me $125. but if i can get a gurantee then....

why not get a set of 30mms? since your scared that the 33 might loose some bottom end.. just get a new set of 30s :) or 32s :)

I wouldn't waste money on the stockers, and he isn't going to gaurantee shit. I have the 30mm oko's and love em. Their just a knock off of the keihin's with the original keihin internals, from carb parts warehouse. A big difference from stock, very well worth it. Now if I had the porting you have, I would prolly go with the 33s, we have the same mods other than the porting you have. junk the stockers!
