brian Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I wanna go fast I cant believe the amount of $$ I have put into the shee. I quit counting somewhere around 8k and know I went well beyond that. I still have stock a-arms and controls and alot of other stuff too. Then I look at all the others on here and think how the hell are these guys affording that ?? But WTF, like "El Diablo" said ^^^^^^^^LOL Quote

jamebo Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Probably around 9k. Out the door price of bike (new), financing, mods and bling. No regrets. Quote
RUDEDAWG Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I got 15k. invested in my first love, a 72 chevy 1/2 ton pro-street truck which ain't nowhere near being done yet. I messed up and bought a banshee and just love to mod the heck out of it, at the rate I am spending money on my shee, It will catch up dollar wise very soon to my good ol 72. Quote
AustinTX Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 After dealership costs buying it new, and all mods....15-16 grand easy! A nice chunk of that was spent with JEFF at F.A.S.T. Right down to my extended carb top adjusters!!!! Quote
HAUSERSMOTORSPORTS Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 bought mine for 900 bucks and i got 1700 in it total just so i can ride it.its bone stock as of right now too. Quote

KaosBanshee44 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 From getting my bike and buying parts here and there ALOT!! Spent about 1500 to 2k building this bike from stock Then broke the whole bike down to build a drag bike to this! Still not done and have close to 15k give or take invested in it from buying and swapping parts. I don't even wanna think about how much i spend at UPS every year just shipping parts. Quote
BanditOnTheBanshee Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 yea this topic hurts, i started building one from a junker i bought in june for 1800. bought tons of parts that wernt rite for what i want. off of motosport, ebay and my local shop. realized i have a ton of perfectly good parts laying around so why not build 2, now i have 2 half decent projects started, and iv almost spent as much on shipping as i did on the original bike. Dick Wheels Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 I traded a $600 investment blaster for mine last January. I now have about $1,500 into it between rebuilding the swinger, new carrier and axle, sprockets and chain, fixing the tranny. If only I knew some more about it I wouldn't be on my 3rd intake setup but got it figured out now. Once I throw on my new A-Arms I have in the closet and buy a new seat I think I did pretty well all and all. So complete about a $2,200 investment  Why can I not use an img from my photobucket? Quote
