csrmel Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 jeff is a great guy, i have done buisness with him in the past, will do again in the future. i have nothing bad to say about jeff or his company. the only real problem i ever saw was back in the day all those people advertising for fast in their signatures. this is not just a "fast" problem, it applies to all vendors. whats up with that? unless fast, passion, herr jugs, rb porting etc are PAYING you to advertise for them, why do it? thats as gay as k&n stickers. you dont see "call rb porting for all youre banshee needs" in my sig just because i paid rb to port my cylinders cut my domes and set them up for a stroker crank do ya? i may recommend rb once in a while, and i really dont see a problem with someone recommending a vendor to another person. no problem at all! unless rb did my work for free, why the feck should i advertise for him? jfor the most part, this problem has died down, there are still a few fast, passion and herr jugs sigs though. its just annoying to see users advertising vendors for free. that's my little pet peeve. Isn't a referral from a satisfied customer the best type of advertising AND Thank You you can give someone??? Do you have any stickers on your bike? Are they paying you? Including Yamaha...just because you paid for the bike, doesn't mean they pay you to ride it and advertise. Do you strip the Dodge, Chevy, Ford, etc. emblems off your car or truck when you drive it? The only text on my red bike is on my hub caps and head, becasue I couldn't come up with a way to get it off. My road vehicles are nearly the same with the exception of the Detroit logo in the back window, but I have a legitimate reason to advertise for them. :biggrin: Quote

Red Wings...more so....and current Stanley Cup Champs. Until this year, the Wolverines have had a winning season and went to a bowl game like 30 years in a row...and they are still the winningist program in Division 1A men's football. And just a couple years ago...the Tigers were in the world Series.... Our teams are actually pretty good..comparatively... However... Our Lions have 1 playoff win in the 45 years Ford has owned them. People love letting other people know how built and fast their bikes are. I personally don't care to brag about my bike, and don't show all my pride for it. There's always someone faster than you out there...and the sooner you realize it the better. You can't let shit go to your head like some guys do. I don't care how fast my bike is at all...I know it's fast enough for me to have fun, and I'm always searching for more power and performance, and when my budget allows for it I'll have it. A lot of you guys have bikes that would smoke mine...you've been doing this a hell of a lot longer than me, and know more than me. But to be honest...I don't think I want any other Banshee than the one I have right now. To me my bike means a lot...it's the first quad I actually went out and bought on my own, the first one I've truly worked on by myself, I feel like I have a connection with it, and being a part of the HQ and the help you guys give me here could not be replaced with anything. I feel like we are a family here. For me this is a hobby, and definately a passion...that's why I'm here. A lot of guys have let this corporate and product placement bullshit take them over, and it's a shame. We're all on the same team here. There's enough other guys hating on Banshees, we don't need to hate each other. Quote
