You should always use oil if you are running foam. You didn't mention what you had. Just reclean the filter, you will be ok.

Gas running out of the overflows means you have a float that is stuck or not adjusted correctly.

Thats funny dude, your 6.0L is a gasser. We are talking big boy trucks here. 6.0L DIESEL power baby!!!!! I don't know if I agree with the better fuel mileage on the 6.0L. So far, I am only getting about 14mpg around town. My 7.3L was getting 16-17mpg round town. Although, I only have 3700miles on my new truck so maybe it will get better.

Agreed Cummins are the greatest. My dad owns a cummins and it outperforms the powerstroke like day and night. Plus never had any luck with Ford I can hang with my buddy in his 1 ton Dodge dually no problem when we tow. He could be my old 7.3L, but not my new truck.

Evil, I knew you would come around. Good man. I LOVE my new 6.0L. If you could, I would get the F350, if it is not too late. Not much more money and if you tow heavy in the future, you won't have to worry about it.

You can't look at just the motor. You have to look at the size, ride etc. The Ford has the bigger crew cab. The cummins is an awesome motor, but the new 6.0L PSD is a good motor as well. I am on my 2nd Ford and will always own one. My toy hauler weighs 12,000lb going down the road and my truck pulls it great. The cummins would do just as good of a job. I had 47,000 miles on my 02 PSD, about 20,000 of that was towing, ran great the day I traded it in, only did normal maintenance. Test drive both and see which one you like. Ford has major changes coming on the super dutys for 05. Go to www.thedieselstop.com to get an idea. If you like leaf springs, you better get an 04 or older.

That is way cool you are doing something. I hate it when someone pulls up next to us at the dunes and unloads a portable generator. Then they run the damn thing all night. TOO LOUD!!!! I can run my genny in my Warrior all night and you can't hear it. Whatever pipe and muffler you can add on will help. Try camping world, I bet they have something. Heck, go to Onans website and see if you can buy a muffler all by itself.
