  1. Polish did you have a buggy in your group pull you back? That sucks. It happens. Try being pulled back in the dark over those big dunes being pulled by a Dune/Drag Banshee. That's some pucker factor for the sphincter.
  2. So you have had good results with the needles. What were the advantages over the stock needle besides the extra clip grove. Thanks for you input.
  3. Are the main jets also different in the Dyno-jet pack? I have never ran a main so big at sea level on a stock carb. I never used those Dyno-jet needles and jets. The needles alone scare me.
  4. Those are the dyno-jet ones. If you run the 340 jets you have to put in the Dyno-jet needles. The clip goes on the 3rd or 4th down. It says in the instructions. You have the stock needles in right now. Cant figure out one set of needles I have. I dont know where they came from??
  5. Are you going out this weekend? Do you have your needles in your jet kit? I think they may have gotten left behind. Came across them while helping leadfoot350 out at Glamis last weekend.
  6. Sounds like your in need of a rebuild. If you suspect an overheating problem best tackle that or you
  7. I agree with you on that. I stay away from those scenes. Lots of people in one spot going fast with no rules. It makes me cringe. Anytime you want to come down and visit Glamis give me a call. I camp away from everyone. Nice, quiet and no fear of being run over. I'll show you riding you will die for. You'll hardly see another rider out there. If you do it during the week it gets even better. If you camp far enough out even major holidays can be enjoyable.
  8. Nice. I bet it gets around real nice. I'll keep an eye out for your docbones bike.
  9. Is that a drag shee on the 250R lonestar frame?
  10. I will be out on wash 8 or so. Should be at least a couple other members going from here. You cant miss my ultra high dollar luxury bus. Drop by and say hi.
  11. Tires are a hard choice. Haulers are very particular on the swinger length, the power put out at the RPM you launch at and gearing. My default for the sand dune hill shooter/drag racer 22x12 paddle on a 10 inch swinger 22x10 paddle on a 8 inch swinger 22x8 paddle on a 6 inch swinger
  12. They do have a stock gas carb class. Just pipes and filters. I don't know the price but it isn't much. I'll be running in the same class. Cant wait.
  13. No they are 4 stroke friendly. Bring your Raptor or 450 out and run it.

  15. Thanks for that correction :baseball_bat:
  16. At least somebody is having fun. Looks nice!
  17. What class you guys running in? I'm trying the 350-400 Alky class. Trying to get out Thursday night.
  18. How was the trip? Those are some nice pictures. Cant wait to go out.
  19. Oct 7 at Dumont dunes. I'm trying to get ready if I can get on top of my work load. Should be lots of fun. Whos going from here?
  20. I did delete my post. I didn't want to stir anything up. If someone wants to buy pipes from me they can call me. I will do my best to beat anyone's price. Same goes with my port jobs. I'm just a garage hack so I cant hold a candle to the big guys. I've talked with and ordered things from Jeff. He is good people as I'm sure Jim is too. I know Matt is cool I have been to his shop more than once and do sell his pipes. Cheers Kevin
  21. You have a good set of pipes but not a motor to run it with. You need to port that motor to run with those pipes. It will be sleepy without it.
  22. I cant remember if you are local. For Glamis your set up matches mine except for the porting and pipes. This is what works for me. The needle is very important. DEK needle 52 pilots and a 155 to 158 main.
  23. My port jobs are already
  24. Don't listen to Polish. His bike is slow :baseball_bat: I have some in frame Shearer small bore pipes for you and I'm local. I'll make you a great deal and get your bike jetted correctly for you. Those carbs are fine and will support 90HP. Once you get some pipes that will let that motor breath get it jetted correctly it will RIP hard. I mean as hard as an Alba port can. That jetting is a good start but you will have to change the needle to get it spot on.
  25. This is how I set mine. Air screws should be 1 to 2 turns out. Set the idle low without stalling the bike. Then adjust the air screws to where the bike idles the fastest. Then reset the idle screws to the desired idle. Advance the timing to +6 if she spits coolant or pings up the octane. If she falls on her face back it down a bit.
