The HQ is probably owed something for advertising, but 50% is steep. Also is or has BigRed been compensated for the use of his likeness at the top of every page on the HQ? BigRed - are you planning an organized "microfiche" style CD where you start with a whole Banshee and click-to-zoom on specific parts or just a structured collection of JPGs? If you are getting all micro-fancy or is it micro-fishy?... $20 is a steal!

Wallrat - I did not know that about public land in California. I know here the public riding areas are state parks which is or came from public land. What were the OHV areas in California before they were OHV areas? I fall back on item 3 in my original post. Responsible riding helps our case. We don't need anyone else aggravating land owners. Okay... I'm going to bounce an idea off your guys. It is just an idea - so don't flame me too much... What is we policed our own? The local Sheriff could either put a few experienced deputies on ATVs or give a select few experienced volunteer ATV riders authority to persue and arrest. I realize a few new bad a$$es will come around just to get chased and temporarily aggravate the situation, but if you permit confiscating the ATV and fines on top of that... Here is the big one: Once the rebels are caught the good guys go away and stop riding where they aren't allowed too.

WallRat: Aren't "legal riding areas" sometimes found on "our public lands"?

First of all, I do not see a "them". I only see a "him". One man possibly on a political rant to make a name for himself after a probably failed legal career. Second he clearly plans to suppress any and all opinions not his own. You must agree with their mission statement in order to be a member. All that first ammendment stuff the liberals typically bang around is forgotten here. A couple of thoughts: 1. I only see *ONE* name behind all of this - Eric Hamburg. He *may* be the Eric Norman Hamburg registered with the California State Bar. 2. Since the topic, or parts of it, has been declared officially stupid: Why are McDonald's pancakes so easy to cut with a fork? The stuff you get at other restaurants like Denny's takes a knife and sometimes a chainsaw to cut up. Oh, and I do believe the world rates you on your grammar, spelling and such... even in forums. It doesn't have to be perfect, but if u right wurds lyke thus people think you are illiterate and I agree... :-)

I'm sure the bike is great. It seems wrong to use the Quadracer name on a four-poke. Especially one with less displacement than one of the two-stroke versions it replaced. What's next? A 315cc twin four-stroke Yamaha Banshee! EDIT: Those of us who remember the Quadracer and Banshee in their heyday understand.

There exists a race F-1 team named "McLaren Mercedes". I think the two may be one and same in some form or if not one, they are definately combining forces on the F-1 circuit. Anyone know if Mercedes bought McLaren or if they merged in some manner? The specs I can find on the McLaren F-1 and Enzo are a toss-up. There is never a news helicopter when you need one. I think it would have made big money on PPV... What about fuel in the carburetor bowl draining into the air filter? EDIT: To previous poster - oil or fuel? Oil is bad and weird. Fuel is possible because of the above. It shouldn't be much, but it is enough to start a fire in the airbox under the right conditions.

Sounds like you got a blank... Action Sports Cams is what Doug Myers recommends on his ATV Television show. The other guy with an ATV television show also recommends them. Search this message board. This has been asked and done before. That price seems pretty descent. I think they also make you dry it out... empty the crankcase, fuel tank and all so it is not "hazardous cargo". EDIT: Search for "shipping companies". NYUK recommended www.forwardair.com.
