Well, they have put a ton of money into the camping and such in the last few years. It is now more inline with the other Missouri state park where you can ride ORVs - Finger Lakes. I thought it was fairly creative how they took mulch from Johnson's Shut-Ins and made some obstacles. It sure would be nice if they'd get some heavy equipment in there and pile up the chat the way it was in the 1970s. The stuff used to rival Choke Cherry! Next time you are over where you can see the mill look across the hillside. There is an active lead mine with it all stacked up. Granted they are not fast, but I watched a bulldozer climb it one day. Must have taken that dozer 20 minutes so you know it's big!

Okay, well chalk one up for Detroit. Just remember the next three games are in St. Louis. So far this definately has not been the blow out promised by Detroit fans... The Cubs beat us better than Detroit did tonight!

If you read around here enough you'll find road riding is also a good way to get rid of your ATV. Several people have had them confiscated by the police. Many others have received awards in the form of expensive tickets. If you are very unlucky you could wreck or get hit by a car. Have fun, but be careful.

There was a guy on here recently struggling to find the advertised airbox upgrade function for his kid's raptor. In searching the Internet it sounds like many people are at a loss to figure out that feature. You might be careful with that one or at least have the dealer show you the feature before buying. Side note: Congrats on being a good dad! There are lots of things you could do besides spending time and money on your kids. I know it just looks so cool to see a whole family out enjoying themselves on a weekend. It really bothers environmental groups too. They want to paint our pasttime as anything but that. -bill

Is your question why the stock '06 'Shee doesn't have a new chassis and suspension? I'd say it's because the majority of Banshee owners modify them shortly after purchasing them. Take a look around here and look at the aftermarket parts available. For about the last decade Yamaha has just been a raw materials supplier to the aftermarket.

Well, St. Louis is a very accomodating city. We will be happy to accept Detroit's gift if that makes them feel like they don't suck. I have to say I was surprised. You guys were making them out like Detroit was infallable. They must have forgot how to play baseball while we were going easy on the Mets. :yelrotflmao:

What is the subject of this thread again? My screen is kind of fuzzy.

I know a lot of people who know it as Flat River too. Not everyone uses the new name. I guess at some point they renamed the nearby town to Park Hills. I am not that old to remember all that. The mine closed a year before I was born!

I don't know that bunt over the left field wall Just now looked pretty good to me... Oh and whatdaya' know they can roll it down the other side too... :-) Oh and what's this? Center with one of those baserunner things involved? My goodness... :-) EDIT: My bad. Pujols homer'ed into right in the 3rd - not center. St. Louis is scoring on Detroit so fast I can't keep it all straight...

Well, I figure the Tiger's are either going to be rusty or rested. I'm hoping for rusty... :-) It is supposed to rain here tomorrow night. There will be plenty of people from here tuning in on the TV I can guarantee that. When is Game 2 in St. Louis? Sunday? EDIT: On the stadium thing... it was a tough deal here. They first wanted the taxpayers to pick up the tab. Why on Earth would people over by Oklahoma want to pay a dime for the new stadium? It is a 4-5 hour drive. They'd be lucky to go to one game in their lives. Anyway the damn thing is right next to I-64. I think it is too close. A determined terrorist could drive a car off the Eastboard lanes into the stadium (highway is way up high there). The ballpark village is supposed to revitalize downtown. It has yet to be built.

I used to go ride there - when I still had a 'Shee. I still go down there to hike, bike and so on. I take pictures on-the-side and have done some shoots of friends down there before. The chat makes for good roost photos. My pic thingy (whatever it is called) to the left is down there. -Bill

It's all good. I'll take #2 for all the tax money they spent on the new stadium and ballpark village, etc.,. However, I'm still hoping for #1... I kind of feel bad for those Mets fan though. EDIT: And you have to admit this was one hell of a series. In the end they all are entertainers and both teams in the NLCS put on a heck of a good show down to the final pitch!
-
It ain't over 'till it's over... (Oh and this NLCS is over)

Saint Louis got a new stadium this year.
-
Take that New York... Loved the looks on all those fan's faces in Shea...   Detroit here we come... no way in Hell they can get two runs this late... GO CARDS! (I guess the new Stadium helped after all?)

I agree. If you want something to winterize and de-winterize buy a PWC. EDIT: And... It is cooler in the hot summer days. You get to see women in bikinis or less. Great excuse to get women in bikini's or less. No tickets for riding on the highway. No tires, brakes or shocks to replace. No helmet to buy You can blow through way more gas than any 'Shee. It is easy to piss off boaters. P-a-r-t-y C-o-v-e Et Cetera...

Wow! Sadly I don't know if that is historically accurate, but it's one way to get the teenagers to like history. Unfortunately after taking your history class they'll fail English for sure... :: Can't win for losing...

Okay. Thanks!

Scammers will sometimes combine two letter n characters to look like an m. You think you are going to hotmail when you are really going to hotnnail. The hotnnail site looks very much like hotmail only it asks for personal information which can be used seperately or in the real site to do you harm.

In 1993 I had a 1988 'Zilla. It was ridden hard and needed a rebuild, but it was enough for me. Best times: Sometimes I would get a friend to kick it over for me when cold. I was 135 pounds back then. He was 230. He would tell me "put some ass behind it". I didn't have any ass to put behind it. Another buddy claimed to be a CR250 racing champ and he laughed at anything with "training wheels". I remember how everyone laughed at him when he got on the 'Zilla and was scared to wind it out on an open dirt road. He would short shift and never got into 5th. He didn't say much about training wheels after that. Some riding buddies commenting how they could feel the exhaust five-to-six feet or more behind the silencer when we were stopped and idling. You guys know what I mean... how a single-cylinder two-stroke had that uneven idle where you can sometimes count the "bump bump bump". Again nothing like a couple of relatively small inline cylinders. Worst times: The times when I had to put her away cause I couldn't get her started or the kicker "kicked back" and even jammed my leg or almost launched me over the bars. Selling her to get my (now) ex-wife an engagement ring.

Probably a phishing scam, but are there any details? Did someone link you to something like hotnnail .com instead of hotmail.com or did they just add an entry into your hosts file, compromise local of global dns, etc? Details please... :-)

Well, as of a few minutes ago it looks like the Mets might want it a little after all... ::

I imagine it is cheap since you took it from your brother's skateboard!?! Those skater fags are always looking for some new challenge. Maybe skating with three wheels will catch on? You'll famous! Of course eventually he'll become a snow boarder when you've taken all the wheels...

I really thought the Mets would give the Cardinals more competiton than this... This might just be a central time zone contest this year... GO CARDS!

Anyone know whats redline on a shee?
STLBILL replied to Ron Burgandy's topic in General Banshee Discussion
If this is true what is the yellow section that precedes the red on some tachometers? Yellow is usually warning or caution, right? Red is stop or danger. When you drive down main street do you try to arrive at the intersection when the lights are red?
