  1. Tag 2's CR-LO bend with my 1 1/8 to 7/8 adapter clamp.
  2. What I've done with stuff that should NEVER be poured on the ground or down a drain, is this. Get a 5 gallon bucket, pour some water in your tank, then shake it. Pour the contents into the bucket. Repeat. Let the shit in the bucket evaporate. Make sure no kids or dogs are going to get into it. Once its evaporated put the bucket away so no one trips over it.
  3. Welcome. Good idea to get used to it before modifying it. I rode mine stock for about a year or so. Once you get pipes, you'll wonder why you ever rode stock.
  4. It is in Utah unless posted otherwise. You have to be registered and follow any regulations. In the dunes its Flags, and in some cases no double riders on a single rider ATV. In some cases you have to share a gravel road with cars, so you can't ride like a maniac until you hit the trails. And since alot of the state land is campgrounds and such, you have to watch out for drunk fuckin morons out riding and more so on holiday weekends. The first and last time we went riding up to a place called Ben Lomond Peak we had 3 of us in a group. The first guy went around a corner only to have some dick on an old school 70's motor cycle cutting the corner. Then he cuts my sister off that was in front of me and as I got there he proceeded to tell us he was calling the cops because of our reckless riding. I could smell the booze on his breath 3 feet away. We said ok, and I held that fucker wide open and dumped it. He didn't call the cops. I think he knew better than to tell a cop he was out riding especially in his condition, and what actually happened wasn't even close to what he claimed happened.
  5. I saw Fishbone way way back in 93. Awesome band. What ever happened to them? During the show, the singer was losing his pants and kept pulling them up only to have them fall 1/2 way off again, and I averted my eyes when he started climbing the scaffolding and hanging from part of the lighting rig.
  6. I'm not 100% positive about this, but I think I've made parts for that thing. I need to go through my blueprint archive.
  7. Hopefully it will be a little cooler when me and the mrs. get our sort of annual trip to Vegas planned for Sept/Oct.
  8. True. Didn't quite think of that. I'll amend my statement to: Whomever hacked that persons account is a worthless cockbag.
  9. Its about the same latitude, just head west about 200 miles or so. Never been to Moab, but I hope to go visit one day. I don't rock climb, or mountain bike, or hike, or raft, or much of anything besides lift weights and ride sand dunes. Maybe I'll just look at pictures of Moab.
  10. What a worthless cock bag.
  11. We've been setting a few records here as well. Northern Utah rarely sees 100F days and we are on our 2nd week of them. Today was kinda mild. Its only 90 in the office right now. Tomorrow they say it might even rain a little. That would be great as long as it isn't 100 fucking degrees while its doing it. I love the heat out in the dunes (Little Sahara UT has been around 106-108 this week) but here in the shop I hate it so much. I just kind of sit around sweating like Whitney Houston on a bender.
  12. Before you go through all of that (damn thats a lot of work!) I have a nut removal tool that fits on the end of a 3/8" drive socket.
  13. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time
  14. I was gonna say the same thing. He thinks yer hot. Go riding shirtless and see if it gets worse. Worse = Lock your doors at night.
  15. Most of it depends on how you want it finished. Bare, PC'ed or Chrome. I've actually sold more bare than any. $505 for a complete ready to run BARE swingarm/loaded carrier plus $25 shipping. $530 total. All you do is put an axle in the carrier, put your chain sliders and dust caps on.
  16. A longer swingarm is typically used to help keep the front end down under heavy acceleration. I've sold swingarms for bikes with pipes and some porting but only about a +2 or a +4 for more heavily ported bikes. A +6 is more reserved for those bikes that can drag, and dune. Anything over +6 really isn't good for anything but drag bikes. Most of the shorter swingarms (-1, -2) I've made are for flat tracking, MX, ect. It brings the rear wheels closer to the center of gravity on the bike and allows you to hook up really well. With some decent shocks, you won't wheelie at every turn, you'll actually get some good weight transfer and some squat in the rear end and you'll take off like a bat out of hell.
  17. LMFAO Seriously, Sounds like an opportunity for a one of a kind paint job. If I had the cash I'd send you my white stockers and tell you to use Hugger Orange paint.
  18. I will no longer bitch about having to mow the .16 acres I'm on, and my house is on about 1/4 of that, so whats that leave, .12 acres? Yep. The Sprawling Estates is what I refer to it as.
  19. With all the machining I do, I do alot of keyed shafting. Offset keys aren't the best thing you can do being that there is a corner that acts as a fissure where the key is offset and gives the key a place to start cracking. If you can, just slot the holes in your timing plate. Thats how mine was done.
  20. I"ll 3rd that opinion. I always use a gasket sealer. I'm not sure if there is a bolt pattern to torque it down, but always be sure to get the screws finger tight first, then go around it torquing it in steps. I usually take 2-3 steps to do it. I dunno if it makes a difference or not, but its such a big cover I'm sure it flexes a little.
  21. I've got around 100000000 times that in my back yard. I do agree though. Once those stock engine mounts have been chopped out to make way for an engine that wasn't designed for that frame, you would basically have to refit the banshee engine back in. You may as well just leave it as it is unless you feel like fitting an engine in a frame.
  22. I've always kind of wondered about that guy. Its the beady eyes when he takes off his over sized aviators.
