  6. Thinking about going to 28 pwks, read really good things about them and have some questions. I am running the stock carbs with tors 340 main jets, 27.5 pilot jets, stock needle on 3rd clip with k/n clamp on filters and 100LL avgas at sea level and runs really good. Motor mods HJR dune/play port, weisco prolite .020 over pistons, stock stroke, noss head 19cc domes, 6 degree timming advance, vforce 3's, lighten flywheel, toomey T5's making bout 63hp. What all do I need to buy? Will the 28pwk's fit my stock intake boots? Can I still use the k/n pods from my stock carbs? What do I do with the TORS? What jetting(mains, pilots, and needles would I need to use in the pwk's to match the jetting of the stockers? I want to keep using my thumb throttle.
  7. Been noticing fuel leaking around my carburator bowl gaskets. So just installed two new factory yamaha gaskets one in each carb and the new ones leak. I don't want to tighten them too much and strip the threads. Is there any type of sealent I could put on each side of the gasket and reinstall?
  8. Let's us know how your swingarm adapter holds up. Heard they are not safest. What kind of riding do you do?

  20. Since you are pulling the heads off you might as well pull the cylinders and pull the rubber plugs out and put sealent on them and reinstall.
  21. It's either the head or the rubber plugs on the bottom of the cylinders
  22. Exactly what BigRed350x said.
  23. You might notice a difference in smell out of the exhaust. Like I said if you have the timing and compression required to run race fuel, yes it will make a difference. But on a stock engine you won't notice anything but a lighter wallet. I read somewhere that running more octane than needed will hurt performance.
