if that needle is 1/4" longer its causing you to be way lean on the bottom. thats why pulling the choke makes it run ok. take that needle clip all the way to the bottom and see if it will idle. ill bet you 3 pennies thats what the problem is....remember 1/4" on the needle is A LOT of adjustment... better yet just for fun throw stock needles in it and see what happens. gaurantee your problem will be fixed..

both holeshot hd's and irazrs are good tires but very heavy. i personally started running kenda knarlys and love them. 6 ply, light weight and hook very well...

not to mention everyone else who has replied to this has spelled it TITLE...he prolly doesnt know what we are talking about...

id check for an air leak. make sure your intake boots are all tight and the gaskets are good.

one of these days im gonna put a cbr600 engine in a raptor frame. the frame is tall enough to accept the engine easily. it would suck putting one in a banshee frame because the engine area isnt very tell. cotton eyed joe is doing it now and i know hes had to cut the frame and add a lot of new frame rails.

gary is sometimes hard to get ahold of, but i have never waited a week before. keep trying him. hes a really good guy to deal with. every time i talk to him im on the damn phone for 30 mins talking about who knows what.

my engine actually revs out to about 11,500. revs are gonna depend on more than just pipes. porting and other factors are involved. if you want rockets they will def out rev stock pipes. porting and carbs are a big determinant on gearing as well as pipes..

4mm with 110 rods = standard pistons + cut domes 4mm with 115 rods = 795 series pistons up to .60 over, then blaster pistons on up past that + cut domes
