  3. anyone could have done that porting. its got a pretty simple intake port with some boyeson boost ports. i think about all those things are good for is some low end. dont hear of too many people really doing them anymore except for passion. oh yea, the new cheetah cub cylinders have them..
  4. umm its like comparing apples and oranges. the rockets will pull harder and much longer on top. plugs arent a problem. i can get mine out just as quick as any other pipe. never burnt my shit yet...

  6. sounds like a toasted rotor to me. even if brakes are hangin up some 3-4 hours is very quick. and besides, if the brakes were hangin up that bad wouldnt u notice it when riding?
  7. how about better tires? that would make a huge difference. theres more to winning a race than having tons of power. gearing and tires play a big part as well as rider skill. id say you are thinking that with more power youll roast him. well what happens when you have more power and you are spinnin the tires all the time? cuz truat me, it will happen. how is your bike setup now?
  8. haha no not dealers..they are both good pipes and cpi's would be my second choice. i just love givin the cpi guys shit, as i know they love givin the rocket guys shit.
  9. youll be happy with either pipe. ive run both and can tell you they both respond well to porting and other mods. im sure youll eventually cut them fenders and get some porting so why not go with rockets now???

  14. what cable do u have? do u have the steel braided one? if so there is adjustment right down by the carb where the cable goes into the carb tops. screw those in or out. you can prolly cut off about 2 loops on those springs. just make sure u dont cut too much off so that the slides wont go back down. on my 35mm pwk i cut about 2 loops off.
  15. i would recommend getting some ROCKETS. i have heard they perform excellent on a stock bike and i know for a fact they perform very very well on highly modified ones. on my 4mm motor they came on faster and pulled harder and longer than cpi. you cant really compare cpi and rockets with the other 2. sounds to me you like WFO i would go with something with some major top end. i think rockets will make you happy.
  16. kenda knarlys are a badass tire. they are cheap and lightweight but also a 6 ply tire. i started runnin them a few months ago and i love them.
  17. predators arent really that slow. i used to have one and it was actually pretty quick..if you are bogging off the line what gear are you starting out in? what gearing?
  18. yea i see what ur saying. still tho, thats alot of extra cash for 2500 more rpms and no more hp. i would love to ride someone passion 4mm that says they have it running good. my passion motor did not hit anywhere near as hard as my current motor and it signed off much earlier than the one i have now. there is no comparison between them and if i were to race someone with my old passion setup id be sittin at the finish waiting forthem to roll thru. i agree something sounds fishy here and i meant to say it a long time ago in some other post but didnt. oh well...
  19. im sure they both good but v force 2 are proven. i would go with them until some sort of real major gain is seen with v force 3.

  21. yea i gotta see this. furthermore i have a ?. if jims mild mx stock stroke motor puts out 72 hp and his 4mill 12 port puts out roughly mid 70's whats the point of spending 500 for a crank and another couple hundred in porting to get 5 hp?? seems kinda stupid to me. sounds to me like someone is gettin screwed here...
