  1. i would go for rockets. just my opinion tho. im sure youd be happy with any of them.
  2. me and my bro run them with elkas shocks. its sweet. do a search and youll find a lot of info...
  3. bike ran excellent today. fastest time in the 2 stroke modified class with a time of 7.1 next fastest was 7.4 by another guy and myself on the cr500 banshee...the cubs are going nowhere. i have a set of drag ported 4 mm cylinders for sale tho...they also run very hard...
  4. well stephen said it best right there, "both pipes are great". so all this got started of because what stephen said? he sat right there and said they are both good pipes, and i agree. same with cpi's. on our motors rockets happen to make more power than cpi's. we didnt have shearers to test so we dont know about them. agree 100% with this statement. for any average rider its not likely that youll even notice a 3 horsepower difference wither way. i agree here too. price does play a large part to ppl. if you cant afford rockets or cpi go with shearers. thats what i would have done had i not been aboe to afford rockets. this comment was definitely not called for. ppl dont HAVO to listen to us. they just do. ill give my opinion at any time about anything, just like everyone else should. but no1 should get bent out of shape when someone says something they dont like. i wasnt in fact stirring shit, i was actually joking when i made the remark about the good laugh. i love it how you talk about us all the time. perhaps youd like to join the rest of HQ and get on my nuts?? if u ever looked at my dyno charts on the rocket website youd know that on MY motor rockets made more power. so how are they down in power? im here to tell u that no1 makes me hype up shit. i hype up good products and good ppl. simple as that. so ur sayin that if the best pipes in the world made 15 more hp than everyone else you wouldnt run them because they are ugly??? check my drag video son. see how many times we were at the back of the pack?
  5. i just bought a raptor for my project bike and its a slow ass turd. i was extremely disappointed in it. doesnt matter cuz im not using a slow ass raptor motor anyway but still, for a 600 they suck. on pavement a stock banshee will kill it. on dirt im sure of the same unless the craptors front end will stay down.
  6. street bike clutch...call FAST racing...
  7. they are on my bike right now. gonna run them at the hillclimb tomorrow.
  8. i needed a good laugh for the day!!!
  9. haha yea i think my pilot is about 14 sizes too big. thats how i keep ppl from starting it and stealin it.
  10. first off, why did u take them out? they shouldnt need to be removed to be powdercoated. they only need to be taped up and there shouldnt be any PC in there anyway. anywho, i would just say fuck it and take it to a machine shop. last month when we were putting the cheetah cub cylinders on 01bansheeke's motor we snapped both outside rear studs. one i just drilled out and retapped. the other i tried an easy out type deal on. it snapped and we fucked with it for hours. ended up takin to a machine shop where it took them 30 mins to get it out.
  11. i would just do away with the key all together. theres really no point in it. if someone wants to steal it all they gotta do is splice the wires together. its not really a theft deterrent system or anythiing.
  12. havent heard anything bad about g force but check their warranty. for another 100 bucks or so u can get a lifetime waraanty on a LSR axcalibur axle.
  13. well if you would take 5 mins and try it out you might find there is already tons of info on this site about all different types of porting and builders. who did you send yours to?
  14. its not a liter bike but it makes 103hp stock.
  15. haha cub motor is waaaay too small. think bigger. MUCH bigger. and add a few more cylinders...
  16. being the fastest doesnt always get you across the finish line first. being smooth and consistent is what will make you fast. try to stay calm and focused. if u get behind dont worry. just stay smooth and ull be aight.
  17. haha good one...
  18. cole, i dont think they make training wheels for those...
  19. picked up a 2001 raptor for my next project today and need to get rid of this stuff. ENGINE--its got some new starter deal in it. whichever part that goes bad has been replaced. other than that its completely stock. motor seems to run fine. its the only raptor ive ever ridden so i dont have anything to compare to but it runs good from what i can tell. $650 shipped. CARBS--motor runs so they must be ok. $100 shipped for both. ELECTRICAL--i dont know, make me an offer on it. EXHAUST--SOLD WHEELS--got the full set. not in perfect shape but they look ok. will fit banshees, yfz450 and warrior. $50 shipped for the rears and $50 shipped for the fronts. HEADLIGHT COVER DEAL--i think its made my yamaha. its carbon fiber. make me an offer on it. its in perfect shape. if interested in anything just PM me.. got a bunch of other stuff on it thats gotta go too so if you are looking for something chances are i dont need it. im gonna hold onto the radiator, plastic and all suspension related stuff for now.
  20. what are your mods and elevation? we can pretty much tell u where u need to be.
  21. go with the street bike clutch from FAST racing. do a search for FAST and several threads will come up with his number and such.
  22. i know on my 4mm setup when i reach 80 over ill have to switch domes. dont know if this has anything to do with big bores or not but the dome i have now will not work with that bigger piston..
  23. what are his exact settings now? what pilot? what elevation? hook me up with some more info ray...i can tell u one thing, that 4mm stroker motor wont run near its full potential without at least 33mm carbs..
