  1. i cant remember how much they were. Jeff from FAST racing is now on this site under the name FASTOYS...shoot him a pm or call him. not sure if they are better or not but i look at it this way. i buy parts for my truck at autozone or other and stuff for my quads from builders and atv stores.
  2. you shouldnt depend on the gasket to keep water from gettin in there. those plugs should be siliconed in to ensure they dont leak.
  3. i wouldnt do it but thats just me...
  4. if you have your cylinders off pour some water down into the water jackets and see if it comes out where those plugs are. if it does then pull them out and re-silicone them. if not you have a problem somewhere else.
  5. that really sucks jim. some people should just be taken out back and shot in the head. there was obviously a lack of respect for anything or anyone around them. i hope they get what they deserve.
  6. like my quicksand a arms personally...
  7. i like my cbr600 f4i. but i would also be happy with a 600rr im sure. i dont care for the yamahas that much.
  8. i believe thats right. he deosnt not have a website, you have to just give him a call. the clutch def works...
  9. any high temp silicone will work. pull the plugs out. clean up the edges of the cylinders where those plugs go in. put a bead of silicone around there and put the plugs in. wipe off the excess. let that shit set up before you start your banshee up. usually takes over night. the reason its running like shit is because your sucking coolant into the cylinder. i bet your radiator level dropped a little didnt it?
  10. sounds like you need to pull the rubber plugs out of the cylinders, clean them up and use some yamabond to seal them back up. if its leaking from the bottom of your cylinder in the front thats the problem. your prolly suckin coolant making it run like shit. pull the cylinders and check those plugs.
  11. ive beat a ton of banshees in my day on my 450. im sure a lot of that has to do with the type of rider i am.
  12. ryan you need to sell drugs, become a hitman or sell your body on the streets. dont sell the cr500 banshee. they are a rare breed.
  13. haha slipping clutch...whats the track like? real hard pack or loose shit? is it in atchison??
  14. i know a guy that ran 450's in his stock carbs.
  15. sounds like a hell of a deal to me.
  16. i would go with all 6 with your mods. once you get used to it i dont think youll notice it much. if you dont use all 6 then use 3/3 not 4/2...i also got all new clutch parts from him and it made a huuuge difference. if your clutch parts are junk, throwing a new clutch in wont help you much. itll just wear it out quick.
  17. yea i use all 6 springs. i have a regular clutch lever and dont mind the pull at all. with the ez pull you should be fine. yea he said he was sendin us some t shirts or something a long time ago...screw the shirt i want some free parts
  18. sweet. we can meet up there. wont be hard to find me..im sure u know what my bikes look like..
  19. sweet! youll love that clutch. you can really feel the power getting to the ground. did you tell him that we gave you the reference? he told me he has had tons of guys callin from hq cuz of our referrals. i think i deserve a cut of that...
  20. i prefer the rockets but thats just me. on my old setup they made more power than the cpi's. you should really get pipes according to what will work best with your porting. you really cant go wrong with shearer, cpi or rockets.
  21. if the cylinders dont have any deep scratches i wouldnt go any more than 20 over if that will clean them up. contact dlnoss here on the site and he can set you up with some domes. you dont need a different dome you just need to see what cc is stamped on the side of yours.
  22. 400ex a ferrari??
  23. hmm, look like the same damn thing to me...
  24. everyone talks about having such a hard time with turning off the gas and changing spark plugs. it doesnt take me anymore time than it did with a set of stock pipes or t5's. i dont know what the big deal is all about.
