no fuck that meat! haha. it had to be one of the guys who said a 4 stroke couldnt do it!! ha.
i didnt even read that for a couple reasons..
1. no punctuation. a comma every few words does not constitute punctuation.
2. there are no paragraphs. just glancing at it gave me a headache.
yep. and they also say that 4 strokes arent able to do them. well at least the ones with no run.. whatever. the shit can be done with regular tires on a fuckin 4 stroke. bam, loco was right. one of these days though i still really like to get out there and ride that shit.
ehh, im not sold on it yet.. i def wouldnt buy a 2009 either. id make surethat efi is gonna be reliable and id wanna know that aluminum frame isnt gonna crack or break.
ill stick with my steel framed, carbed 2006.. plus its LIGHTER!
you sure you really need to go thru all that? im pretty sure you can get that seal out without having to drain the oil, pull the over and sliding the shaft out..
well i was talking about the seal itself. youre prolly gonna fuck it up regardless when it comes out. i was just tryin to save you from having to pull the whole side off your motor. but hey, if you like more work then feel free to do it the above way.
i dont know if i will or not. RIPPEN has my video camera right now pullin footage off my tapes for his new dvd.. so unless he sends that shit out this week i doubt it.. i really should tho. maybe ill hit him up and try to get my stuff back..
you need a new shift shaft seal. if i remember correctly you can just pull the shift lever off and pull the old seal out. youll prolly fuck it all up, but oh well.. then slide the new seal in.. done.
i dont understand why it weighs so much...
dry weight of a 2008 yfz450 is 350 pounds.. it holds 2.6 gallons of fuel.. lets say thats 8 pounds a gallon.. so there you have 22.4 pounds.. so youre up to 372 pounds. lets say it uses a gallon of antifreeze at 8 pounds a gallon. theres 380 pounds. then a couple quarts of oil could weigh no more than 5 pounds. thats only 385 pounds..
am i missing something here? why the fuck should this brand new aluminum framed 450 weigh 20 more pounds than the 2008?!
surely those cant be razr style tires meat. those MUST be huge swamper tires because those coal hills cant be climbed with any normal dirt tire. i just dont believe it could be done. the guys from PA say it cant be done. and those surely cant be 4 strokes.. those guys must be riding banshees with high hp and lots of wheel spin disguised as 4 strokes. no way a 4 stroke can make those kinda hills..
those uni pods and junk. stick with the k and n.. and i personally dont like outerwares. they can and will attract enough dust and dirt to make your bike not run properly. they are great for the sand, but i would not run them in the dirt.
to me, its worth it to send the shit out. by the time i run around to get the tools needed, plus the labor, plus the time i would need to learn properly.. i could just send them out and be done with it.
yes you will notice an increase in performance with these mods. however, if youre on a budget you may want to consider something else because by doing this you will need to start running a higher octane fuel. the higher octane fuel is quite a bit more expensive than the regular shit.
also, i would recommend a NOSShead.. dave is a site sponsor and is always there if you need him.
fuck bitches.. they shouldnt even speak unless spoken to. they should shut their mouths, cook and clean like they are supposed to..
man, i cant wait till i hit 1000 posts... oh wait :ermm:
