lately ive been coming across a lot of threads about people asking for cheap porting and virtually no turnaround time. people are in such a hurry to get things done that they are willing to let inexperienced people do work on their cylinders. why is this? your cylinders are the heart of your bike. this is not a place to go cheap or be in a hurry about. good porting by an experienced and proven builder takes time. there are calculations involved that are beyond me, and thats why i pay the best to port my motors. why would you want some no name "builder" messing around with your cylinders? i see plenty of guys runnin around on this site saying they can port this and that.. you know what?? i wouldnt let any of you clowns port my WEEDEATER!! and if anyone on this site falls for that shit.. well i guess i just dont feel sorry for you. take your time. do your research. have someone who is proven to be good at what they do work on your stuff. redline, k&t, a&s, fast, gt perf... these guys have all won races and can build fast shit. they are busy as fuck because they are the BEST!! these clowns runnin around on this site claiming they can get your shit back to you in 3 days arent busy because they are not even on the same level as the guys listed above. why would you want someone who is sittin around copying other peoples work or using templates to port the part of your motor that determines what kind of power youll be making? discuss...

its all gonna depend on your weight and tires. i usually drop gearing when i get to the dunes.. and i run a 10mm cub.

dude, be real for a minute. these companies made it so that their vehicles were unaffordable. thats not the employees fault or the shareholders...but why should the government loan them money so that they can keep on being unaffordable? do you really think that these auto makers are going to up and change their ways after this loan? i think not. these companies arent that stupid. they knew they were going to have issues a long time ago at the prices they charge.. even i knew that. they should have stepped up 10 years ago and cut production costs and had a lot less inventory than they do. i dont feel sorry for them.. it sucks for the employees but this loan will simply be a bandaid for the next couple of years and the same shit will happen again. as long as the execs get their big vacations and private planes they dont care what happens to the rest of the company... thats pretty obvious.
