this was actually addressed a long time ago in another thread. i see no point in buying a brand new bike that weighs that much more. personally, i would rather have a steel frame just in case i ever wrecked it and wanted to fix it myself. aluminum is much harder to work with. my 2006 yfz450 is prolly the last 450 ill ever own. i cant see spending the money for the efi and alum frame and having to deal with the extra weight.
